Jeff, with the new release dates from AICPA, will it matter if you get a new SIM ? Will that automatically move a candidate to the end of the testing period to get their scores ?

@jenuno01-I doubt they changed the rule on sitting for the exam more than once in a testing window. IF they did though that would be pretty awesome.

Working šŸ™ It's quarter end, so I'm super busy working on the Call Report (bank FDIC filing). Then I'll have the FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, Y8, Y11 for the Fed… and a few other reports. I probably won't be super active on these forums again until December when things slow down a tad for me. Every quarter end it's like this. Oh and we have auditors here for 5 weeks doing SOX testing and I guess some other stuff. I'm going to meet with one of them in half an hour to do a Fixed Asset Walkthrough and have a Fraud meeting where they ask me if there's anything I need to tell them concerning fraud at the bank.

I'm just feeling sorry for myself because I have a fever and a headache, so I've come to these forums to take a break. My boss has told me that if I feel sick that I should go home, but we're going out for lunch today to celebrate me passing my exams, so I don't want to! It takes more than a mild fever to make me miss out on filet mignon and scallops…

How's life Mini?? I see you're taking BEC in a couple days… Did you change your test date? For some reason I thought you were taking it later in the testing window.

Wow, you are one busy bee!! Hope you feel better too!

Life is good. Busy as always. Yeah, I was scheduled to take BEC on Monday, October 10th, but I am ready now so I moved it to this Friday. Looking forward to being done with the exams.

Keep us updated if you hear anything from the CBA. I am using you as a timing guinea pig to gauge how quick the turnaround for licensure is.

I guess it wasn't that much of a change. Good luck on your test – I'm sure you'll blow it out of the water!

I called the CBA yesterday asking how long the licensing process takes, and she told me around 6 weeks. She said that if you submit all of your information (Live Scan, Experience, Ethics Exam, etc) before you submit your application, your application will be processed much faster. She said that they only review applications once per week or something like that… So say they get your application, but nothing is there yet. They stick your application in a pile for review next week. However, if you had submitted your ethics exam, experience, all that BEFORE sending in your application, when they get your application they check and see that all of your stuff has been submitted, so they go ahead and process it.

I wish I had known this before (I submitted my applcation the day before I sent in everything else). But it might help you. :0)

Very interesting. So they are saying submit your experience early as well? I am done with the Ethics. So you think I should submit my LiveScan and Experience now?
