I don't know how this can be true but my state board coordinator said that they won't be receiving scores until mid Nov.. That can't be true!!!!

Someone posted on NASBA's Facebook page that NASBA reported that they haven't received any scores yet but are hoping to receive them in the next few days?!?! Way to stay on target AICPA.

For those of you that have done this all before, I seriously don't know how you handle the stress. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I took REG on October first – my very first part of the CPA exam – and the wait is just killing me. Never mind that I am also trying to study for BEC (test date 11/19/11).

Please someone tell me they actually are going to release the scores today and they haven't been leading us on with the Nov. 3rd date!

I just spoke to someone at NASBA also. He said they have not received from AICPA yet, too. Looks like this is not a rumor. 🙁

@BethZ: I'm sorry to say there is nothing you can do to ease the pain of waiting. At least, I haven't found the magic formula. If you do please share! Last quarter I was thoroughly useless running on basically 10% or less productivity until I saw the scores on the site.

As for the release today, according to Jeff's NINJAs, the scores should be coming this afternoon! Hang in there and do your best to focus on BEC for now. I generally try to give myself 30 minutes or “work” before allowing myself to stalk the ILBOA, NASBA, and Another71 sites for 5 minutes. It's better than being disappointed every 2 minutes of refreshing lol.

@KasiaS: Thanks for the words of wisdom 🙂 The 30 minute work thing is a great idea and I am going to implement it right now as I have gotten virtually nothing done all morning. Here's hoping to good news sometime later today.

The problem is the people at NASBA don't really know any more than we do, they are at the mercy of the AICPA just like we are. If you call the same # you have already called at NASBA and talk to a different person you will get a different answer. But the score release timeline came directly from the AICPA. Today is/was their “target” date. Now it remains to be seen whether they will hit that target.
