I’ve seen numerous posts on people receiving a score report which indicates on what parts of the exam they did better/worse than other candidates. I’ve passed two sections, but the only thing I’ve received from NY is a paper that says my score (which I found out online weeks before). I’ve emailed the NY CPA people but no response as of yet. Anyone in NY get a detailed score report?

I think you only get that report if you do not pass a section.

NY only sends a detailed report indicating how well you did in certain parts only if you fail. Consider yourself lucky not to have received one and good luck on your hunt for continued success

After a week or so from the time your score is visible on NASBA website, candidates receive a letter from NY Board of Accountancy. If you passed a section, the letter reports your score and the expiration date of your score. If you failed a section, the back of the letter has a diagnostics report indicating on which sections you performed stronger or weaker as compared to average passing score. The average passing scores are also reported. For simulations and communications it is only reported whether you performed stronger or weaker, without reporting your score and the average score.

As you pass more sections, scores for newly passed letters are added, and the letter will have all of the sections you passed to the date, as well as expiration dates for all of the exams your passed.

How do i get my score report?? I sat in MA – do all states not provide them???
