I didn't mean to make this sound like a piece of cake. This has been a lifelong STRUGGLE for me.
I studied AUD & BEC alternating weeks, 2-3 hours per night and most of the day on Sat. and Sun. I took off work Wed and Thurs. I took AUD on Friday and BEC on Saturday. I studied BEC on Wed and AUD on Thurs. After I took the AUD exam, I hit BEC the rest of the day and took it the next day.
“Study” = work as many MCQs as possible and a few sims and essays per chapter. I made hand-written note cards on everything I got wrong plus all formulas and lists that need to be memorized. Went back over all those the morning of each exam before going in (got up at 5 am and reviewed for about 1.5 hours). I watched NO VIDEOS this time. They are a colossal waste of time for me. Why study in a format that is not the exam format? I mean, Olinto is hot and all, but not THAT hot! The exams are about nailing questions, and for me this was repetition and memorization, nothing more.
I made a 62 on REG the time before (late Feb). That's when something snapped. I decided I was over this. I stopped lying to myself and rationalizing my behavior. I hit the studying hard, and took REG in the next testing window. I didn't wait for the score to come back, I immediately started studying AUD and BEC, because I think there's a LOT of overlap in those two exams. When I got my REG score and almost DIED from happiness, I had the motivation to try the back to back method again. I highly recommend it. I felt HORRIBLE after each exam, like I failed and I have cried walking out of each exam, but everyone is different.
Everybody on this forum, please: DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. Block everything and everyone negative OUT of your life for now, because they are the enemy of your success. If you have qualified to take this exam, you can and you will pass. Get off Facebook, tv, and any other distraction and study your butt off and get it done once and for all. I won't go into detail, but if this 1989 college graduate can do it, you can.
