I never feel relaxed…I have felt like I am going to puke for 2 straight days. The fact that I have no idea if I am done or will have to study again for the next 8 weeks is the worst feeling ever…

@dtatham10, nah everyones expectations just get higher, and everyone at work just assumes the test is easier (I work in industry, not public) the anxiety curve stays just about the same… plus im a god damm nutcase.

haha..@elad315..damn those teachers always leave the best part for the end. You should think about it every day and might get that dream again and this time the teacher might give it out.

I really believe its because they rank everyone's score from highest to lowest, pick a cutoff point fit for public consumption and that becomes a “75”. Everyone above the cutoff passes, and below fails regardless of raw score. It's probably a bit more involved than that, but its just my personal belief that something along these lines happens behind the scenes..

I personally believe we wait so long because they need to curve the grades. Some people disagree and the AICPA says they don't but I honestly think they do.

I agree, they wait because they are curving their scores. No other explanation why historically this exam always has right around the same pass rates. As study material gets better it would make sense we are coming into these exams more prepared however the pass rates don't reflect it…wonder why that is…hmmm

@dtatham10 I do agree that the study material is getting better and helping us study more efficiently for these tests, I also think the AICPA is realizing that and is finding ways to make the questions trickier whether that be adding one small word that changes the meaning of the question. But yes I do find it odd that the pass rates are always with in about 2% give or take each way.
