@jpowell31- I'm right there with you- would LOVE to push FAR to January but won't feel comfortable doing so if I fail BEC tonight (which I am anticipating).

@akambacpa I ditched Becker and got Ninja MCQ. Seriously that was all I did, granted I did still have base knowledge from Becker Reg. Becker did nothing but bring be failing scores and I did their program. Ninja MCQ brought be passing score for FAR, REG and AUD, but keeps failing me for BEC. If I failed again I'm going to have to find something different, so I really hope I passed this time.

@ShutUpStupidGetBacktoTeachin, I don't feel like Becker is adequately preparing me for AUD. I've taken it twice now, I hope I find out I passed tomorrow, but the second go felt way worse than the first one. I feel like about 20% of the material was just straight left field, whereas on the other three sections Becker had me prepared and I knocked them out first go.

Deep down I feel like I scored in the 60's for my re-take. I hope I am wrong. Tomorrow I will check and see if the CPA gods are smiling down on me.

How many of you have gone from a 74 to a worse score on a retake? Just curious if that happens a lot or not..

@NeedsA75, that is my biggest fear about my Reg retake next Fri. I have never felt this type of pressure going into an exam.

I'm really hoping I passed BEC, I might wait until tomorrow to check…we don't want any drunk rants!

@mtaylo my biggest piece of advice is to try and de-stress before your retake. I too put an extreme amount of stress on myself before my REG retake knowing that I only needed to improve by 1 point to pass….it didn't help at all and in fact may have hurt my chances of passing

@Needsa75, that's exactly what happened during BEC attempt #2 for me. I was so caught up in my “slump”, including my 74 in Reg, that I completely blew it. I did improve by 1 point though, so hopefully the same happens for you

@needsA75 I have gone from a 74 to worse. It's not fun. The key is trying to tell yourself that it's not just 1 point you need 75 points. Much easier said then done. I just brushed through a few topics that I thought were my weak points. Didn't approach the studying as if it were my first time with the material..took the retake and got a 71 :/

I remember going into one of my reg scores vividly seeing scores right under 75–sure enough that's what I had. What's most frustrating is when you're confident and you read these post where people talks about how they rushed through the sims and plugged zeros everywhere and still passed!

@kanwal78 No, but I did have one where there was this super long formula that you could use to calculate your score sooner than they were released. Then at the end the teacher wouldn't give us the last part of the formula and told us we'd have to wait.
