Not sure I want to look at my score on 8/4

    So I took REG yesterday and didn’t feel too great about it when I left Prometric. Either it was a harder test than FAR and BEC or I wasn’t as well prepared.

    I would like to take my AUD exam on 8/9 but I haven’t scheduled it yet.

    If I do schedule it for 8/9, should I avoid looking at my REG score until after taking my AUD test?

    I should be well into final review for AUD by the time scores are released on 8/4, but if I fail REG, I’m afraid it will shake my confidence going into my AUD exam.

    Anyone else in the same boat?

    Advice please!!

    I was in this same scenario waiting for my AUD result while studying for a retake of BEC. I looked… and I failed. I think that is what propelled me to do around 800+ MCQ BEC each day the next two days I had. I ended up passing BEC and immediately started studying for my AUD retake after a day of rest.

    FAR - 75
    BEC - 71, 79
    AUD - 67, 83
    REG - 74, 74, 02/25/16

    I start my first day at a Big 4 on 8/4 and I'll receive my FAR score that day….talk about not wanting to have a sour attitude first day on the job. I probably won't look until I'm out of work that day.

    FAR - 76! 10/15; (65) 7/15
    BEC - 82! 11/15; (74) 8/15
    AUD - 01/16
    REG - TBA

    I agree with Claudia. I want my score ASAP for my BEC retake.

    I just want to get this flipping exam done. It's been close to three years that I've been working on this.

    AUD was the worst for me, though the first time I took it I was 1 point shy of passing. 🙁 FAR and REG were easy for me; I passed FAR the first time and passed REG twice. I passed BEC the first time, but the credit lapsed due to FT job and FT law school. Then I retook BEC with about a week’s worth of study time after passing REG again 10 days before and naturally failed, so just waiting for this darn BEC score.

    I'm going to study for the ethics course (MN) and take that while I'm waiting so I have at least a little bit of a distraction.

    CPA (MN) officially NOW DONE AS OF 8/4/15:
    * FAR – 79 (11/2014)
    * BEC – 82 (1/2013; lapsed 2014), 71 (10/2014), 83 (7/11/15)
    * REG – 89 (11/2012; lapsed 2014), 79 (10/2014)
    * AUD – 74 (11/2013), 72 (4/2014), 89 (8/2014)

    Ethics - 91 (7/15/15)

    Used CPA Excel Silver and CPA Excel Iphone App. From 2012 to mid-2014 I was also in law school fulltime while working fulltime.

    @ABinTX: I understand how u feel…I actually don't want to look at my REG score either because there are so many things I screwed up on. If I were u, I would take the AUD exam and then later on look at ur score. For me, seeing a failing score always depresses me for like the next 5 days, so if there is a slight chance that u didn't pass (hopefully u did) u can avoid the demoralized mood while taking AUD.

    AUD: 84
    FAR: 75
    BEC: 78
    REG: 75

    DONE-ZO!!!!!!!!

    REG: Used Becker 2014 book, NINJA MCQ, Ninja notes, ninja audio

    @ABinTX

    It looks like we are on the same Schedule! I'm in that boat too, but I think part of it may be the fact that I'm half done and it would look silly if I started failing now. If I failed, it is what it is. I think you need to push on. Look at your score. I think it will drive your ambition either way.

    FAR - 90 ✔
    BEC - 86 ✔
    REG - 82 ✔
    AUD - 92 ✔
    ETHICS - Passed

    I was thinking about not checking any scores until I took all four parts. Studying and sitting for all 4 parts is an accomplishment in itself. If I can do that, I don't think I'll feel so bad if I find out later I have to retake a part.
