Not checking scores – moving on to next exam

So I decided to test this QTR and not check my scores till the end. I thought the idea was crazy when I herd it but I decided to try. It is so liberating I have taken 3 exams back to back and I haven’t checked my score yet. I take my last exam 3/10 and I’ll finally check my score on the 25th. There is really no point in putting myself through the emotional roller coaster when I have more exams to take, in the same window. I will check my scores 3/25 and I have major anxiety about it. But hey thats future me’s problem. Today me is just proud that I kept going.

Has anyone tried this exam trick and how did it work out?

This will be an experiment for everyone else for the rest of 2017 since scores will only be released once each quarter!

I don't think I could ever pull off taking three sections in the same quarter, but waiting to review your scores all at once sounds like a good idea, that way you don't get sidetracked while studying for your next section.

Sounds like not a terrible idea. I'd be inclined to do it that way if I were taking all the exams in one quarter… But I can't test that fast – takes me a quarter just to study for one exam since I also work full time. Let us know how it goes!

That's the way the exam used to be. An old timer told me they had to study everything and take all 4 sections all at once. It was on paper and they filled in little bubbles with a pencil. Then they had to wait like 6 months for the score. If you didn't pass all the sections, you had to wait months to retake all the sections, even the ones you scored well on. And there were only 2 testing windows per year. And you had to walk up hill in the snow both ways to get to the testing center.

I took all 4 exams this Qtr. I needed to get my Mind right and give it one last shot before they change the exam. Going forward I will only take 2 exams/ QTR but I wont be checking my scores till the all my scores are released.

Im over test anxiety now i have serious score release anxiety !!!!

So @LIZZ, how did you do? It would be crazy to go from having passed zero to all four in just one quarter. Fingers crossed for you!
