I can understand that frustration for sure. But just know you can do it while working. I half-ass tried before I had kids. But now I have two kids and am on a hot streak (lets hope that continues today). And having that CPA license isn't necessary for a job, far from it. So you're still on your plan 🙂

@Samdiego – One of the reasons I asked is because this last time I failed, I had remember exactly what my SIMS were. I made sure to master the concepts of those SIMS (based on my memory of the questions) and, sure enough, I got one that was exactly the same one.

Going forward, take notes immediately after taking your test. Use your notes as an aide for re-studying. Maybe look for a tutor or classroom lecture to try something new.

Just my $.02, who knows if I even passed my retake.

@samdiegoCPA this is the norm for us folks in Oregon. Often 2-3 days behind, and that's IF we bug the staff at Oregon BOA. A lot have the patience for the mail.
