AnonymousInactiveFellow residents of non-NASBA states, please join me in waiting for our scores! I figured since we are on a separate timeline it might help if we can post here as our scores come in. Also, feel free to rant that your state board is slower than NASBA… it’s ok… you’re among friends!

Jennifer241Member@apple32 Don't speculate anything with these exams, so many people come out feeling great and fail, so many people come out feeling horrible and fail. On the flip side so many people come out feeling great and horrible and pass! Keep the faith and be prepared for both answers. I typically make a plan. Write up a 2 plans right now. Make #1 plan for if you fail, how are you going to approach REG differently, what area's can you improve on, what are your weak area's, honestly evaluate what you wish you could have done differently. Then make plan #2, how you plan to treat yourself if you pass, because then you will be a CPA and have to take the ethics stuff and send in your application etc. Re-direct your mind to planning for both!
@Jsmi77y I usually get all my research questions right on my practice sim's, my co-workers also tell me my research skills are awesome. My husband just tells me I could be a professional stalker. HA
Honestly though, Fast is her maiden name.
AUD - Jan 9,13 Pass
REG - Aug 30,13 Pass
BEC - Oct 26,13 Pass
FAR - Dec 4,13 PassLicensed CPA in the state of Oregon

samdiegoCPAMembersigh…. day of mourning for me 🙁 I don't understand how these things are flipping graded. I was going through the REG exam and KNOWING I was getting the answer correct, not even GUESSING, but my testlets weren't getting “harder”. Perhaps I was getting the pre-test ones all correct and the real ones wrong? I don't know. I don't understand. IE: I got stronger on Property Transactions when I thought that was a weaker area for me?!
Just so annoying knowing I spent all this time when I was home for Christmas with my family who I never get to see studying, when I could have been hanging with them instead. Studying in the car on the way to relatives, on the plane, missing Christmas parties with friends. Blah.
But, so glad I didn't hear about this before AUD yesterday though! I haven't cried for years over something and am now, haha. That would have sucked to go into an exam with hurt feelings. Anyway, few more hours of a pity party for me today, then moving on to BEC tomorrow.

Jsmi77yMemberI can understand that frustration for sure. But just know you can do it while working. I half-ass tried before I had kids. But now I have two kids and am on a hot streak (lets hope that continues today). And having that CPA license isn't necessary for a job, far from it. So you're still on your plan 🙂
