    We are still waiting so here is another one!

    A guy calls a company and orders their 5-day, 5 lbs weight loss program.

    The next day, there’s a knock on the door and there stands before him a voluptuous, athletic, 19 year old babe dressed in nothing but a pair of Nike running shoes and a sign around her neck..

    She introduces herself as a representative of the weight loss company. The sign reads, “If you can catch me, you can have me.”

    Without a second thought, he takes off after her. A few miles later puffing and puffing, he finally gives up. The same girl shows up for the next four days and the same thing happens. On the fifth day, he weighs himself and is delighted to find he has lost 5 lbs as promised.

    He calls the company and orders their 5-day/10 lbs program. The next day there’s a knock at the door and there stands the most stunning, beautiful, sexy woman he has ever seen in his life. She is wearing nothing but Reebok running shoes and a sign around her neck that reads, “If you catch me you can have me”.

    Well, he’s out the door after her like a shot. This girl is in excellent shape and he does his best, but no such luck. So for the next four days, the same routine happens with him gradually getting in better and better shape.

    Much to his delight on the fifth day when he weighs himself, he discovers that he has lost another 10 lbs as promised. He decides to go for broke and calls the company to order the 7-day/ 25 lbs program.

    “Are you sure?” asks the representative on the phone. “This is our most rigorous program.” “Absolutely,” he replies, “I haven’t felt this good in years.”

    The next day there’s a knock at the door; and when he opens it he finds a huge muscular guy standing there wearing nothing but pink running shoes and a sign around his neck that reads, “If I catch you, you are mine.”

    He lost 33 lbs that week.

    @David1985,

    I just figured out that you sat for all 4 exams within 1 month and half. How in the world did you do it ? How much time did you allocate to each exam,and what review did use? I would much appreciate your input.

    Love the joke…my husband and I were looking into a new diet plan:now we know that we have even more options.

    Many thanks,

    LauraMaria

    @Lauramaria,

    I use Becker self study. I allow two days per chapter and all MCQ. And one day for final review per chapter. So for AUD I was done in ten days and I did final review 3-4 days. I study around 8-9 hrs a day. (Like full time job:))

    Good luck!

    @David1985,

    You are just about 9 years younger than I am and I admire you. I hope for the best results for these last two exam. I passed Audit with 85 (I just fund out this morning) but I studied many more hours and days, altough not all my hours have been ultra-productive …

    Awsome !!

    I am 35!! I must say I was surprised by how young some of our fellow candidates are : I saw some as young as 24- 25 a week ago, when I sat for exam . I admire them for being so driven and so accomplished so early in life, while I got a little discouraged , personally : next year I will be 36 and I will start looking for a job, with no accounting experience and no big name college degree , either …

    Any way, my admiration for your accomplishments grew two folds since I found your real age !!!

    @David1985: I thought you were born 1985 too lol! I'm the same age as yours – 37 (born 1974?)

    How could you manage to study in just a short time…admirable!

    I took about 3-4 months to prepare a section, compared to you, I'm a snail 🙂 I got about 3 hrs a day to study, usually after my kids are in bed, not too productive because I was too sleepy and tired at the end of the day.

    BTW: Studying for the CPA exam is my unintentional weight loss program: I went from 91,92 lbs to 88 lbs.

    Good luck! I was looking to see if you got the scores on those “waiting” and pass.

    BEC 85

    FAR 80

    REG 81

    AUD 90

    @CPAexammom Wow you are 88 lbs. How is that possible? Did I read that correctly?

    @CPAexammom,

    I can see why most people will think it's a yr, but for me it has a different meaning.

    I was born Jan 75.

    It's ez to study when you do not have kids, but my gf is getting more and more impatient with CPA process. Can somebody take her off my hands for few weeks? LOL I do not think she understands that I am doing my best to make this process as short as possible for both of us.

    Look at your scores! impressive. I am looking for 75s 🙂

    @david1985 well as a fellow David, i'll be glad to take your girl off your hands 😉

    hehe jk.

    but in all seriousness, i think it's more astonishing to me that you were able to retain all that information and take all 4 parts within 2 months.

    do you have a good memory? or are you just really good at accounting?

    i'm having trouble memorizing even 1 chapter of FAR

    @CannotPassAgain,

    I am banking on my short term memory. I noticed that FAR was most difficult to retain from volume stand point.

    I just think key is MCQ. I read every answer. I pretend that I am explaining answers to somebody and that helps me with understanding. I know it sounds crazy but it helps me a lot.

    Good luck to you. I know it's not ez but we can kill this monster.

    @Jack Don & David1985: Yep I'm 88 lbs, trying to gain weight and eat whatever I want…But I'm an Asian chick and barely over 5′ so that works out for me…I mean I don't look like a walking skeleton lol.

    I also love MCQs. I think working on them is the only best way that helped me. Part of that I think because I did not digest the Becker material as quickly as others when I read or listen…blaming it on English is my 2nd language. No really…that's why I can't read very well, and prefer watching lectures and doing MCQs, and study slow like a snail. I took about 10 courses from accounting 1 to whatever needed for a CPA in the US, and some more business related classes, I could not believe that my English major courses from my country got accepted. I thought I would have to take more courses to be able to sit for the CPA exam. Oh well…it all went well anyway.

    Congrats on BEC result! and good luck on FAR! I have a very good feeling that you will get good news…Your study speed is still very impressive to me. I don't think I could ever do that 🙂
