    Hi, all,

I need some help on choosing the study material. I used Becker and with 68. I am not too sure if I should use that for my second try. I heard a lot of good thing about Yaeger and Roger. If I am going to have my second try, should I just purchase the Wiley test bank instead of purchasing the entire Yaeger FAR section? Please advice.

I used Gleim for all sections, it seemed to work well for me but i may change my tune if i end up failing FAR.  Gleim question banks are great and the software is inexpensive.

    BEC - 10/15/10 - Pass
    AUD - 11/30/10 - Pass
    REG - 2/28/11 - Pass
    FAR - 5/31/11 - Pass

I think if you already have the Becker lectures and questions, you should be ok supplementing with the Wiley book for extra practice.  You might also want to reconsider your study plan. Did you not allow yourself enough time? Were you scoring well on the practice and homework questions?  Is it the stress of exam day that is affecting your test performance, etc….

Becker is a very expensive program, I really wouldnt want to invest in Yaeger or Roger unless you think you need more video lectures from a different lecturer.

Becker should be sufficient for you, the problem is that there's just so much material on the exam.  I studied for FAR twice as hard as I needed to for BEC.  AUD and BEC both have 5 chapters, which I see you've passed, but FAR has 9.

Just go back and restudy, concentrate on the areas where you are weakest.  I wouldn't go and spend more money just yet.  It's pretty common to need more than one try for FAR.

    BEC - 84
    FAR - 71, 80
    REG - 82
    AUD - 78 - Passed! Done!

Purchase the Yaeger 2011 FAR Home Study.  Yaeger uses the Wiley book.  Yaeger is less expensive than Becker and Yaeger is worth every penny!

However, do not cheat.  Answer the Wiley questions BEFORE Yaeger explains the answers.

Becker's lectures are more organized than any other course.  Keep Becker handy as a reference.  Additionally, the Wiley book will give you the best in depth explanations, if you need it.
