NC Scores…still a long wait for us!!! - Page 3

    Hello fellow NC candidates! I am waiting on my final score…REG. Scores for me typically arrive in the mail about 10 days after the release date. It would be nice if the NCCPA Board would at least give you the last score over the phone or via email. Anyway, just wondering how my fellow NC candidates are holding up as the scores begin to roll in.

    I am completely and utterly frustrated. I drove all the way home at lunch to get my REG scores and, to my surprise, there was NOTHING! This is the only section I need to pass to be done with this thing. We should start a petition to send to Raleigh ask that they please join everyone else and post their scores online.

    JJones, I am frustrated as well. I haven't received by BEC score yet and I took it on 8/8/11. I called the AICPA today and was told it might be a couple more weeks till I receive my score. And then I was referred to Phyllis Elliott but she is “out of the office.”

    So they didn't lie…they mailed the REG scores cause I got mine today! I passed with a 76!!!! I'll take it!!!!



    @JJones    : I hope yours comes tomorrow! The waiting is awful!

    JJones, is this your last exam? I did the same thing on my lunch break today. I spoke with someone at the board today who said that they were printing “letters” (congratualtions letters perhaps?) and some of the REG scores were held up for that but those were mailed today. Best wishes for us and folgersinyourcup tomorrow, I know that I have been saying a lot of prayers and anxiously awaiting this day!!!!

    I checked my mailbox and didn't get my REG score, my final CPA score, and was PISSED. Then I realized something. All of my friends who were waiting for their final CPA score in NC and it ended up being REG got it today……and failed. So I went out and celebrated tonight. I felt for sure that I failed FAR and knew that I DESTROYED Reg. I somehow ended up passing FAR and didn't receive my REG score today. I did a quick google search before leaving tonight and found that it looked like at times NC has held back your final score to add a congratulatory letter to it… I am confident that all of us waiting for our final REG passing score are done with this exam. I won't truly believe it until I see that envelope though…please come tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I will be camping out outside my mailbox reading a book tomorrow morning (it is my flex day at work, three day weekend!!!!!!!!!!!)

    10:23 AM update: My mail has not yet been delivered!!!!!!!! Granted my mail has never come before 12:15 pm, but I figured the CPA ninjas would throw me a bone today and magically deliver it a few hours early along with my final passing score. No such luck!!!! I am so nervous..

    Aaron Cohen I didn't get my REG score on Thursday (all my scores have come a day after they are posted as being sent) and it is my last score!!! Any truth to the rumor congratulatory letters are being added to some scores????

    Okay guys. Ya'll are going to get the person who told me that killed! I don't know why it has to be a secret but I definitely don't want to get him in trouble! Anyway, here hoping for the best for all of us today. I will be checking the mail when it runs around 2:00. Here's to a big celebration weekend!!
