I, like most of you, enjoy reading the score release thread above each wave while I wait for someone to stuff envelopes in Raleigh… I see people saying “YAY, got my 76 I’m a CPA!!!!” or “Thought I failed FAR but got a 96!!!” to which they get congratulated… or vice versa for non-passers.

All this happens and by the time we NC candidates get our scores, everyone else has moved on.

I propose we use this thread to:

1. Post our scores!!!! Come out here when you get your envelope and say “YAY… I just passed FAR!!! WOO HOOO!” and we can congratulate each other.

2. Find out when people are getting their letters from Phyllis “All Powerful” Elliot. That way, if you didn’t get yours in a “reasonable” amount of time, you know that you got kicked to another wave.

3. Basically do all the things that the big thread above does for all of the NASBA states.

Of course, since they are releasing starting today, we won’t get many on here for a week or so… but when you get your score… share. (don’t have to share scores)

Just can’t stand when I get mine in the mail, the excitement has died down on this website and people have already moved on to the next wave.

Let’s hope the mail is swift this holiday season… carrying precious cargo… my scores!

ARGH! Well, it's good for REG people, but I thought BEC and AUD were originally released together, and FAR and REG together. So I guess they received REG before AUD.

I saw the tweet above from NCCPA Board also. Hope the “SNAIL” moves quickly so I can have my score by the end of the week for AUD. I can't believe I will have to go through this wait each time. This was my first time I took the exam and this is torture.

Just a thought, but you don't have to take the Exam as a certain state's candidate just because you live in that state, right? You can apply through any state (in which you qualify) and then physically sit at what ever location is convenient right? That would get us around the waiting for scores if we sat as a NASBA state candidate.

i believe a number of states don't require residence to apply.

I wish I could apply to take my last section in sc (especially since I am from there) so I can start the long paperwork process… I could be a cpa officially before nc sends their scores out. Will be especially frustrating in 2011 whe. There is only one wave.

Congrats 32! Same here…only with a 77. Mind you I'm NOT complaining….however, I really felt like I should have scored considerably better. Of the exams so far, I left actually believing I'd passed.
