Mints: I honestly have been too busy these last two weeks to even think about it, which is good. Been traveling to Dallas, from Orlando each week and am doing it again this week (new job training). But the score result always pops in my head a few times a day, and then for an entire 8 hours after I'm back at the hotel. I honestly think it's a 50-50 shot. I felt the same coming out of this third one as I did my prior two 74's, which scares me. First one I was lame on the MCQ, and drilled the sims. Second one was vice versa, but it's because I ran out of time on the sims. So this latest one, I added the “watch the clock factor” which I'd never done before with FAR. I know my first number will probably be a 7 … Just hoping the accounting gods make the second number a 5 or higher. (I'm one of the weirdos who check the scores one number at a time). I'm cautiously optimistic, knock on wood, just worried about my sim results. I had no clue on one … If thAt was a pretest question, I feel I passed, but if it wasn't, I'm thinking I could have failed. No clue. I've had friends that have had no clue and had a 93, and have friends with no clue that got a 65. I'm just glad the wait is almost over … Travel has kept me busy, and this weekend I get to spend with my kids, who apparently missed me terribly, and the Super Bowl. So that'll occupy my brain all weekend. Only downfall is my wife … She knows I'm getting the score “any day now”. I know it's Monday, she has no clue when it is. She just wants “me back”. Both my 74's, my initial reaction wasn't, “crap I failed”, it was “crap, there goes another 2 months of time away from the family”. My only saving grace, if I happen not to pass, is that I have 3 more attempts at FAR before any of my others expire.

(Btw, even though I've busted ass working and training the past few weeks, the fact that I haven't had to study a THING has been soooo relieving.). Just pray I'll never have to open another study book again!
