Waiting for the first score can be tough, but your last score of a section, when you could lose credit, excruciating.

    CPA - Since 2015
    CISA - Smashed 2012
    CIA - Passed 2015

@Gatorbates Hello friend!!! How are you holding up???? πŸ™‚

Personally, my nerves are shot and I'd rather get a root canal then get my score. I'm seriously about to snap. I don't want my score. I've been very happy for the past few weeks not studying and not thinking about DEPS, derivatives and hedging instruments, and stock options and all those other horrible topics. I'm bracing for impact and have been telling everyone that I am going to receive a 68. I won't allow myself to consider a even a glimmer of hope because it will be too crushing if I fail again. I had a lot of hope for my 1st FAR attempt after passing audit and BEC back to back and it was devastating to see the 72. I actually handled the 74 much better according to friends and family. The 72 broke my heart. The 74 made me angry…big difference!!!

I have to mentally prepare for the worst to stay strong and brave on Monday!!!! I know that's some serious Debbie Downer trash talk right there and I'm sorry to post it…but that's where I'm at. I've already come up with new ideas for a review schedule to implement on Tuesday so when I actually do get a 68 I have a game plan that I can auto pilot on. I won't be rational enough to do it Monday night.

    EEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!!

    @ MintzRGood

Your funny! Your post I'm sure is how most of us feel. I know stress hardcore around release time.

I'm with you on preparing for a potential fail. I couldn't find either AUD research question on my 1/16/14 exam. Felt “good” about most everything else though, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a choke this time around (knock on wood). But what you said about “according to friends and family” is what's leading me to post. That's damn funny!

I have a feeling you passed, but better to be mentally prepared for the worst (a choke slam) and hope for the best.

Ok back to REG on a Friday afternoon.

    Completely agree @mystical guy

Doing the same @MintsRGood. I also “won't allow myself to consider even a glimmer of hope because it will be too crushing if I fail again”. Preparing for a fail; I have even checked on scheduling my REG retake (since it expires on 2/22/14)

    Good Luck everyone!!!

@Mints I actually had a root canal the day after I took FAR for the last time in January of 2013. And yes the root canal was much less painful than waiting for that final score!!

You must start speaking your PASSING score into existence. Start visualizing yourself entering your NTS and seeing that magical “Advisory Score 75” appear on the screen!! Trust me it works.

Good luck and I will be checking back on you and Gator!
