I believe that they do have their stuff together. They know exactly what they're doing. And since they have a monopoly and we have no choices, it doesn't matter that we paid them for a task/exam. They will do whatever they want. Maybe one of you smart folks can form another recognized way of becoming an accredited CPA? I'd be all for it as long as you grandfather me in if i pass!

@DHO I know why. Jeff has been so successful in predicting score release in the past that we are ignoring the “official” release date. They hate that and want to remind us that they are the “official” persons. They are challenging Jeff, haha:))

That was my point Jeff. This has to be a personal thing and not a business thing. Something like this that affects this many people should be investigated to determine the true cause and if it isn't legit there should be some sort of disciplinary action. I am completely on board with them taking the site down, and I get that they are still within their bounds by releasing on the published date, but if they have the scores ready to go and just arent releasing them as some sort of power trip that is just wrong and should be investigated.

^ With that said, I don't see why they couldn't just disable the page and then put it back up when the scores are ready. This could have been done on Friday.

We can't really blame them anything actually. They can easily say that “we said the official release date is on Monday”, or “we didn't say anything like scores can be released before target date”. We are expecting an earlier release all because of prior experiences. Even though IMO this kind of delay in score release is totally a torture, they are not responsible to release score no matter when all scores are uploaded.

Well, just think of it this way to comfort myself and calm down my nerve.

But I've expieriences it in the past when they had technical difficulties and almost missed the target date. Their statement then was that it is a “target” and not guaranteed at a specific time. I just wish all of the states had alternative ways of getting this information.

I almost shit my pants after seeing my score (checked around 9 am)… FAR 555 – 80 in Maryland . The exam was very difficult and I only finished 5 out of the 7 simulations. 1 more to go! BTW this website is awesome, I got a 66 on FAR in August which caused me to lose audit (expired). Got depressed for a few days, read a few inspirational stories from on this website, got my shit together and started to study again.
