Well I see now why NASBA increased the exam fees recently… they must have really wanted that countdown clock. Way to go NASBA, yet another great step in the right direction!

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

    11/24? 23? 21? Bueller?

An update that says that I have no idea what's going on with this score release:

I'm hoping this is just to keep us off the site again so we don't crash their servers.

It doesn't take the whole office to bring the website back online. As long as the scores are ready in the system Friday, the IT guy/girl can bring the website back online, anytime, even remotely from home.

So with said, I'm hoping for a Friday night release.

    AUD - 4/14/14 - 83
    BEC - 5/21/14 - 81
    FAR - 7/14/14 - 85
    REG - 8/18/14 - 68 - 11/10/14 - 86

Do we not pay them enough for them to have decent servers? I still don't understand why emails wouldn't be easier. The database puts them there for display. I would think that a system to just distribute the scores would be a little easier, and would leave them more control of the traffic. Maybe some of the more technical folks could shed light on the feasibility of this.

so apparently setting your computer date to 11/24 isn't a work around… just a message saying “please refresh, score relseases are here” It was worth a try.

    Hey guys,

I am taking my first CPA exam (REGS) in 11 days and I am freaking out… every time I think about it I get this weird feeling in my stomach 🙁

What should I do to calm down?

@Kashmera and golfball …I don't drink, but I do see reason in there…golfball has a very valid point. Even thought about taking it up long enough for the exams! I also agree with his excercise and taking a night off. It really does do wonders for the nerves.

Now…back to complaining about that “slap in the face” countdown clock…haha

Hehe…I have an idea, and I'm sure it was mentioned lest release too. Let's all coordinate a time and just start refreshing that stupid timer page they have up until we bring it down…lol

2:30 pm CST tomorrow or today? Who's with us? We may be accountants, but we're rowdy (said in a monotone voice)

Just let them upload the scores and then they'll take the clock down… crashing the server isn't going to help anything..

@ Cpagirl2014 – I said that in jest. Thus the explanation of saying it in a monotone voice. Only for humor. Honestly, I can gripe until i'm blue in the face, but it will happen when it happens. Believe me, I am far more concerned about the uncertainty of the outcome than I am the certainty of the release. I'm actually not sure that the server could be crashed from hits to the timer (probably some little java application) anyhow…I do understand why multiple hits to a database would bring it down.
