@trynapass. I hate to be presumptuous, but your preparation just wasn't thorough enough. Just go back and hit the parts you didn't quite grasp. 61 Is not a score of a candidate who doesn't know his stuff, it the score of a candidate whose preparation didn't cover some important sections.

I took audit the first time and scored a 73. When I looked back and did a post-mortem, I realized professional responsibilities was my downfall. I went back and hit that section hard and took the exam about a month later and scored a 94…Of course I also had the benefit of taking audit the first time around on the last week of the testing window.

Now, ask yourself…How badly do I really want them 3 LETTERS?

@wantthatcpa congrats in passing FAR! how did you prepare for it? I have becker but I'm thinking of getting the yaegar final cram review because I feel like there's just too much to remember.

Any tips from anyone is appreciated:) this is my first time to sit for FAR and I've been reading horrible stories on how hard it is. I take it in two weeks and I'm doing a chapter every other day (all day studying).

@thisgirlneedstopasshercpa I used Becker and did a lot of progress tests to familiarize myself with the types of questions I would see. Words of advice: do not use the sims on Becker as a comparison as to what you will see on the test! Know your JEs! It was my first test so I was extremely happy to see the passing grade especially when I was positive that I failed when coming out of the test.
