@Mindy and AMC I'm just guessing because I'm in the same boat, sat 11/30 and it's showing 12/2 as the status date, but if you read the release date emails from the AICPA it says when they, the AICPA receives it, not NASBA. NASBA is just the middle man in NASBA states. So I could see AICPA updating NASBA after they receive it from Prometric, and that taking place one business day after 12/1. I would think that if sitting the last day of the window usually led to being pushed to the late release that would be institutional knowledge here on A71. I'm hoping I'm just stuck in the bubble and not having to wait until 12/18 or *gasp* after Christmas if I get stuck in that bubble.

@mindycpa That's what mine says too. I'm not sure if that's when they received the scores or just updated our status. Hopefully we don't have to wait nine more days.

Just received my 2nd failing score for AUD. I'm pretty close with a 70.. how long do you all think I should study before I try again?? I was really hoping I would see a passing score to motivate me to continue on, but to no avail.

    FAR - 64

    Jru388 –

AUD was my nemesis. I'm embarrased to say how many times I took it. Finally passed with an 83 earlier this year.

If you're using Becker, write (or type like i did) the basic Audit Reports over and over until you can recite them. Then read the chapters WITHOUT listening to the lectures and try to see how the each topic fits with the basic Audit reports. Before doing that, it just seemed like a bunch of information I felt I needed to memorize and when I got to the test it all got jumbled in my brain. Also, learn risk inside and out!

    Good luck!!

Thanks! @CPA_Candidate316 I never thought of re writing/typing the Audit Reports. That's probably a great idea. I also never read the book. My method was Becker in house class lectures, followed by at home lectures, all of the MC questions & SIMS twice, followed by countless Comprehensive Tests and Practice Exams. I would write down every question I got wrong with the answer and study them. I was getting grades between 70-80 on the Practice Exams, I guess I should have kept going until I was getting 100s.. maybe it would have helped. I'm definitely going to try typing out the Audit Reports though and possibly reading the chapters in full. I really want to get this out of the way by mid January, but I guess haste will most likely make waste.

    AUD - 64, 70 (Retake 1/2015)
    FAR - 64
    REG -
    BEC -

Does NASBA send a letter to the candidate after passing all 4 sections of the CPA exam?

Do they send us something? I would like to know. Good question.
