Well I think it is a lot easier to tell someone how to behave when you are not living in their moment. I couldn't imagine having to wait several months for my score, but that doesn't mean I cannot take issue with the current process. There is always room for improvement no matter what process you're looking at, and as technology improves one would naturally expect the scoring process to improve.

What time do scores usually get posted? Eastern time zone. Probably going to pull an all-nighter hitting the refresh button. Luckily I am getting a new laptop for Christmas so when I fail I won't feel bad about putting my foot through my computer

    FAR - 11/30/14 -79
    AUD - 2/19/15 -86
    BEC - 4/09/15 -86
    REG - 11/30/15 -87

    I'M DONE! ITS OVER! WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

This was my second go round with FAR and all I can say is FAR is dead on regarding how far the study material would reach if lined up side by side….. I just pray for a 75 so I can move on from it.

I'm trying to be hopeful about REG but can't shake off how terrible I felt after that exam. What sucks the most is failing REG will also cost me my BEC 🙁

I hate it when I am busy and have forgotten about waiting for the score release and then all of sudden it pops back in my head that I am waiting, ugh. This is my first wait. I hate it so much, lol. I thought I was prepared for FAR. No kidding I thought for sure I was going to walk out feeling I passed for sure no worries, WTF was I thinking. No it was super hard, I could have studied so much more. Now I am freaking out not knowing if I passed or not. I think because I did good in my accounting classes I assumed that meant that FAR would be ok, no not the case. FAR sucked and now I am super scared of the rest. I just need to know if I passed or not. I feel so desperate, lol. The waiting sucks, the tests suck!

I just also realized my score might be delayed because of the BEC bubble…so instead of waking up at 3am as planned I will just get up at 6am.

We are living in the moment, I'm waiting on my last one for a mid-year promotion, so I'm just as anxious as the rest of you. That doesn't justify directing my anxiety at anyone. Yes, I would love to get an immediate score back too, but NASBA has clearly said when scores will be released. They've not missed since they've been announcing to my knowledge. With that said, why all the fuss? Not sure what room for improvement people expect. They've delivered consistently on all their deadlines. They even give you an exact time now at which they will be available. Seems like that would be more helpful than just a date. Some people just won't be satisfied, I guess. I think the scoring process and timing is reasonable given all the psychometrics taken into account in the scoring.

Accuracy is better than timeliness in this case. Let them get it right and let people in who belong. Hopefully I'll meet that threshold tomorrow morning.

Don't feel bad Jeff. I've been here for a couple of hours and I have apparently missed some of the drama! 🙂

Someone posted Mmm Bop lyrics earlier, which inspired me to crank the 90s playlist to get me through the rest of the afternoon at work.

Currently playing: Who Needs Sleep by the Barenaked Ladies.

Theme song for this evening – countdown clock or no countdown clock.

Just a side note, I am feeling everyone's angst and anxiety over the wait for scores (as I got mine last release and I either would've been done or back to only having passed two parts). As a word of caution, I think that data integrity on NASBA's part is actually a legit worry – case in point, I signed up for both REG and AUD on my NTS and when I passed REG and then subsequently failed AUD NASBA's system dumped my REG score as if I never took and passed it. You can imagine my panic attack when I got my score notification for my failed AUD only to see REG show up as “No Credit” – days and many calls later to my state board and NASBA I was relieved to get my REG score back but I think it wouldn't hurt to play on the safe side and give NASBA the allotted time to grade and push out the scores accordingly. Mistakes do happen but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that one ever again.

    F - 5/8/13 81
    R - 74, 2/7/14 86
    B - 74, 12/6/13 82
    A - 70, 11/4/14 89!!!

I'm done 🙂 Many thanks to Jeff, A71 and Roger CPA!!!
