Every time I have a pause in work I am checking all my resources for a score, even though I know that they will not be out until tomorrow….I am officially insane.

btw… doing the same thing over & over again & expecting different results IS NOT the definition of insanity, its called perseverance. Honestly one of my biggest pet peeves out there when i hear people say that quote, even hear it on news stations.

    The clock is unprofessional

Just disable the score submittal forms and have the date scores will be available if you don't want the site to crash (but no countdown).

Can someone please explain how this forum can function perfectly fine leading up to the score release, with all of its users constantly refreshing, but Nasba can't create a website that wont crash without a clock??

This forum has crashed too. It's why Jeff has to disable the signatures and the hiyas sometimes. Technology is great when it works, but it doesn't always work. We come to depend on it and then when it doesn't work we go bonkers.

No, the “unprofessionalism” comes in where Nasba has the score once you submit your exam, but doesn't release the score for up to a month or so later. That's the outrage. At least for me…

NASBA just needs to be consistent. If you say they are out at a certain time they should come out then. Not earlier. I just don't buy the excuse that this clock is because “we” crashed their site. If you have a clock your going to have the same amount of people checking then. And I have a big issue with scores being released in the middle of the night. Many of us have spent years trying to get to this point. I have one exam left and if I pass the first thing I want to do is tell the people who have spent years supporting me. I can't do that at 1AM.

I realize from NASBA point of view we crash their site hitting F5 over and over, but from my point of view this has been a goal of mine for over half my life and it as effected everyone around me for years. Why would you ever release the scores in the middle of the night. I realize I could just wait, but I'm human and I feel like I NEED to know.

thats an entirely different discussion lol. i really dont have any idea, but i thought they held on to them because they are somewhat curved based on other scores in that time frames…which is why we have somewhat consistent pass rates

According to the explanation on Nasba's website, the scores are not curved.

I don't understand why our scores are released in waves if nasba stresses that the scores are NOT curved.

    B 74, 79
    A 62, 81
    R 76
    F 75

    Done!

Nasba created the F5 madness by releasing scores randomly at some point before the official release date. Which they are still doing till this day. Only now its a few hours before official release instead of a day before.

    AUD - passed
