Really didnt think the MCQ were too bad. First testlet was definitely easy. Got done in about 20-25 minutes. Second one was pretty hard but not unbearable. Third was harder than the first but easier than the second. Left myself with about 2 hours for SIMS. Good thing I did. I didnt get done. Trying to research the FAR sims is very time consuming and pretty pointles Ive come to realize. The theories tested werent that hard, but all of the curveballs they throw in on the simulations really threw me for a loop. If If I didnt pass, its because I absolutely bombed the SIMS. Research one I found rather quickly, but its the only one I know I got absoltely right. Felt much better walking out of REG than I did FAR.

If anybody has any of those “I walked out of FAR thinking I bombed it and passed” stories I’d love to hear them right about now!

    Good luck pshustler!

I took Audit today…and ugh. Don't know one way or the other. Sims were doable except for one that I totally guessed–thank god, it was a drop down menu type answer!

In terms of FAR, (passed last window) I felt ok not great on the sims. My mcq's were med /diff/med I know I had one that I really had to guess on. Don't lose hope!! I hope you get good news in Sept.

BTW the baby pic is beautiful 🙂

I took Far today too. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the SIMS were tough. I think if i failed, it will be strictly from the SIMS! Lots of luck to all of us!!!

I think I felt better about simulations then MCs. I think Wiley does a good job preparing for journal entries. Overall, I think I will have to retake. The test was difficult. 🙁 And I had so many IFRS questions. WIley test bank did not prepare me well for MCs. I think Bisk does a better job for MCs, while Wiley really helps with simulations. Just my few cents worth. About to start studying BISK for round 2 of FAR…

@pshustler had the exact same situation as you. I felt pretty confident after i finished the MCQ, but by the time i finished the SIMS i was pretty sure i failed. they thru in a lot of curve-balls. good luck
