Here’s the deal—I made an extremely conservative choice by scheduling my FAR exam for August 18th. HOWEVER, I am going to complete F8 & F9 this week, meaning that, with a two week review, I should be sitting for the exam much sooner.

Some more facts about my situation:

– A family vacation is firmly schedule for 7/31 – 8/6

– When I get back on 8/6, I have tickets to see The Voice live in NYC

Given this series of events, I am now toying with the idea of moving my FAR exam to 7/30 to get it done before my vacation. Then I will have absolutely no guilt about enjoying myself for one short week before beginning my study for AUD and (shortly after) my full-time position. It will be the one week of summer I get to enjoy out of the several months that I could have had.

What are some thoughts on this idea? Is it feasible to be ready to sit for the exam by 7/30 or will I just be rushing it too much and sealing my fate of getting a failing score?

If you feel that you have a good grasp of the material and have time to do a thorough review with lots and lots of MCQ before 7/30, then you're probably OK.
