MattBlackWRXParticipantSo 2 weeks until this batch of scores are released. I saw someone do this kind of thread for my Audit exam and it really helped seeing everyone get together to chat about it.

CPYayParticipantFor a moment I thought I was in the REG thread and was wondering why everyone is talking about a DRS. I was like, “Oh #$!^… I don't remember a DRS… Did I accidentally skip it?????”
… Sigh …

AnonymousInactiveJust took FAR today so I'm here in this release

leo_bloomParticipantJust got home from AUD. Prometric was packed with mostly CPA folks today….
1st testlet – did well since 2 got harder….
2nd testlet – did well enough since 3 stayed hard
3 stayed hardTook my break….felt ok….did calcs in my head thinking I'm going into TBS well….then did TBS.
2 I think I aced, then the others………..well 2 of them were worded such that I have no clue if I understood the directions clearly – one interpretation would get me a 100% and the other a 0%. Another was the most picky interpretations ever on one subject. Was able to check a few in the AL at least but man o man……
Grrrrrrrr.
Hoping I did well enough on the MCQs to carry me to 75…..my REG exam kinda went like this and I ended up with an 81 so here's to hoping!
I really want to be done with this. It was my last section.

CPYayParticipantApparently REG can have DRS's too… Geez I hope I'm done. My brain can't take much more.

Dwill2ndParticipantI am going
- Back to Back
with my score release! Took Far and got my results on 3.8.16 then studied 1.5 weeks for AUD and will be waiting on these results.
Overall I left feeling better than my first two exams (Probably not a good thing LOL!) but I feel confident I did well enough to pass.
First testlet – Felt pretty easy
Second testlet – I knew was hard, there were a few tricky questions I got done to 2 choices and went with what I thought was the best answer.
Third Testlet – Stayed hard and felt overall very similar to the 2nd testlet.Sims –
Research – Nailed it! Search terms were not working for me but I knew what standards and a general idea on the section the answer should be, so I just manually drilled down to the answer.Other sims – I felt pretty good about the rest of them. I'm sure I made a few mistakes along the way but there was no question where I was really lost or confused.
Bec, 6/8/2016 - 84!

SiXiamParticipantGuys is a class action law suit available for an unreasonable score release delay until August?
This has to mess up a lot of people.BEC: 80
REG: 75

ortegar5ParticipantTook BEC today. Walked out uncertained on how I did. First testlet was difficult, maybe flagged out 7-9 that I was not sure. 2nd testlet.. geez.. it was 2x as hard as the 1st. Flagged about 6-8. The 3rd testlet was medium. Some questions in the 3rd testlet were pretty darn straightforward. Makes me concerned. The 3 WC's were straightforward. Definitely felt like I accumulated all the points possible there. But honestly, I don't think I passed due to the amount of questions I flagged. I was hit with several questions on a topic I chose to not study. My luck, of course, I got like 6 questions on that topic. This sucks!

Brains&GainsMemberafter taking BEC in november and getting a 73 i sat again on 3/3 and walked out very confident, but as time ticks on im starting to feel less confident.

leo_bloomParticipantInteresting point on the subject of “geez I flagged 8 questions I feel so bad” strain of comments
If you have a testlet of 30 questions and you are sure of all but 10 and you narrowed those 10 to 50/50 (or 51/49) odds (at least to the 2 best choices) then you probably got 5 or so wrong. 25/30 is 83.3%. If the questions you got right are worth more than 1 per (due to the weighting/curve) and/or the ones you got wrong are disproportionately pre-test then even better for ya. I wouldn't panic.
I've so far gone 3 for 3 (hoping for 4 for 4) and tend to flag any I'm not sure about. I often flag a bunch then narrow down the ones I'm pretty sure about, then the ones left on 2nd pass / checking I pretty much 60/40 about. I kind of used this method in the MCQ quizes in becker and I was able to pretty consistently know if I took 30 practice questions and “marked” 10 then half (or a little more ) of those I end up with right.
Just a thought….

mperez102204ParticipantHey all! Here to join the “last chance before the change” group! The center was packed today and I actually took the elevator down with three people who took BEC with me. Honestly, I can not say how I feel. I have become numb to the exam processes. I study A LOT before the exam, go in and take it, watch the clock run down, and then erase all questions from my mind as I return home. I literally turn the music all the way up and open the windows (btw it is about 27 degrees here and was snowing to and from the testing center.) I have learned from the first exam it is best not to look up the answers of ones you “think” you missed, as well as counting the flags. I am someone who always thinks the worst, so no flag counting for me! This is how I keep my sanity………now mind you this is less then 24 hours from the test…. I say this now will full confidence, but hey who knows how I will feel tomorrow. Probably the complete opposite, especially after the nightmares of seeing a 74…….

AnonymousInactiveI took BEC for the second time on 3/9 after getting a 66 in November. I feel a lot better after the exam than I did the first time. Only time will tell though. I need to pass to get my confidence up. I want to overcome this challenge in my life. Good luck to all.

mooseonlooseParticipant@privateye8 I had a similar experience. My MC went ok but the sims were horrible.
