So 2 weeks until this batch of scores are released. I saw someone do this kind of thread for my Audit exam and it really helped seeing everyone get together to chat about it.

Each day that goes by, it seems like the score release is farther and farther away… AHHHHHH!
I should move onto the next sections, but the house, life, and work really need love. Although, I keep thinking of the test. I REALLY hope I am not in the bubble…

If this 17 day wait is killing me then I'm not sure how I'm going to manage waiting four months for the Q2 score release. Thankfully I have FAR and tax season to keep me preoccupied during this dreadful wait.

How do you know that your exam data files by AICPA on or before March 11 ? Any status check etc?

Prometric should transmit your exam file the day you take it…

This wait is terrible. I just want to know if I'm done..

Just an FYI on Score Release, NASBA doesn't recognize daylight savings time so when they say scores will release at 1am, they mean Eastern Standard time, so it will actually be 2am on the East Coast not 1am.

    B - 11/11/16
    A - 4/16/16 87!!
    R - 2/17/17
    F - 7/26/16 - Waiting for 8/23

Am I the only one that as time goes on I'm less and less bothered by it all? This is my second exam and on my first one I was literally having nightmares about getting a 74 lol This time around I'm ok. Pass or fail… its ok.

@gigabyte2001 Exam scores will really be released at 2am because of daylight savings time?

This is pretty brutal since I usually stay up for score release. Might have to set an alarm.

I doubt that they will release at 2am. They didn't do that prior to last fall's time change so that makes no sense. Do you have a link for that?

First post. Sorry for the wall of text, kind of just venting.

BEC on 3/10 was my first exam. I feel terrible about it, but for all the wrong reasons. I won't say it was easy, but it was not at all like I expected. I used exclusively Ninja products to prepare and spent 95 hours studying, completing 2,400 questions, trending high 80's. The day before my exam I did the AICPA 2016 questions Jeff posted. Out of the 20 “difficult” questions I got 12 correct and out of the “medium” difficulty questions I got 19, so I felt fairly confident going in.

The first testlet didn't seem insanely difficult, I don't remember how many I flagged, maybe 4. I'm not sure if it was because I felt all the Ninja MCQ questions were much more involved and detailed but compared to questions I practiced with most of the questions on the exam seemed fairly straight forward. Therefore, I'm really not sure if my testlets were getting harder or not. After my second testlet I was convinced I wasn't doing well, not because the material seemed foreign, but because it seemed like it wasn't getting harder. I basically decided I had failed when in my second testlet I got a question that seemed way too easy. An example 2015 AICPA released “difficult” question asks, “According to COSO, the 4 categories of entity objectives in the enterprise risk management framework include each of the following except”. This makes me feel better because the question I was referencing was that straight forward and apparently that is still considered difficult.

Like I said I apologize for ranting, overall I think I just put to much thought into what classifies as a “difficult” testlet and how indicative that is of passing or not.

When I left the testing center I felt horrible, now not as bad. I hope that's a good thing lol

Rosy, did you pass all your exams the first attempt so far? If so, looks like you prep the perfect amount!

I logged into nasba just to practice. I know my score will either be a 74 or a 76…i am trying everything under the sun to pass the time. I just keep thinking about what i could have done differently.
