    The best tip I can give you is to anticipate that the sims will be EXTREMELY difficult and that some of them may not even make sense. Do your best to stay calm when you see them and just fill in what you can. Other than that, I recommend spending your last couple days memorizing things that need to be memorized, focusing on your weak areas, and mixing in some progress tests.

    I walked out of that exam certain that I failed it because I did so poorly on the sims, but I ended up passing. I might have done better had I been more calm during the sims.

    I'm trying to pull another 2-hours. Anyone else plan on studying beyond midnight?

    I'm starting to regret giving up caffeine. Maybe I should have waited until after this last section!

    Movie, what's a movie?? People ask me if I've seen this movie or that movie and I tell them I don't even know what's out. I can't remember what was the last movie I saw. I know it was a kid's movie I watched with my daughter and I believe it was back in June. Cause I remember I was supposed to go somewhere with my husband and we had a sitter lined up and everything, but I didn't go cause I came down with something. Something flu-like that lasted 24 hours.

    Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

    I think I'm done for the night. After rewriting 20 pages of Jeff's NINJA notes and 40 MCQs, I'm done. The MCQs didn't do me in, it was the notes. Ouch, my hand hurts!!

    Hey guys,

    I was at the library today and logged in 5 hours, 45 minutes…..going to put in 2 more tonight., I have to finish A3. My hubby is pretty much out of town this week on business–so it is crazy study schedule for me. Hate to admit this: showering is optional !!!!!!! I didn't say it was pretty.

    hahaha, just telling it like it is.

    Taking BEC next Sunday, I studied six hours yesterday, nine today, two to three hours a night Monday through Thursday of this coming week, taking Friday off to study all day and then all day Saturday. I have completed the entire Becker course, Becker Final Review, and am currently working through the MC a second time. I have legal pads with notes and formulas. And then there is my voice recorder that I have used soooo much that I now have stock in Energizer batteries!! By the time next Sunday rolls around and the test is over, I think I am going to have a stiff drink. I am exhauseted. This is my 3rd time taking BEC. Previous two times I scored a 68 and a 66. Do you think I have done enough this time?

    @candothis,

    Great job…sounds like you have covered all your bases. I passed BEC on the third try. So hopefully the third time is the charm for you too! I used Becker as well and also used the Final Review. I think what I did different on the third try was I incorporated different test banks. I felt like by the third time, I started to memorize the Becker questions. So, I used Wiley, cpareviewforfree, and Gleim. Gleim lets you have a free trial, I used it because I heard they had good coverage on corporate governance. It seemed like corporate governance was such an issue with everyone in the 1Q, so I tried to cover myself by using Gleim in the 2Q. I read the book for the first time and took heavy notes. For me, rereading my notes was a huge help.

    I heard some other people use the voicerecorder and found it to be really successful. I think if I had one, I would try it. Because when I read thru the Becker notecards and my own notes, I always read them out loud. I retain more that way.

    Keep going! I think you have put in alot of good studying this weekend and have a great plan for the week. Best of luck to you!!!
