@Keeptrying — What's more pathetic about he cutting remarks towards your scores is that it seems he has yet to pass the exam himself. I think that he was probably just trying to be funny and a little snide in the process, but it just came off as a kick in the teeth. I seriously doubt he was intending to be hurtful with the original post, it was just a messed up thing to say. What's more irritating is that when he was called on his crap, instead of bowing out and saying sorry, he dug his heels in like a 4 year old and became more abrasive/rude. But whatever, you have the right attitude about the whole thing; at the end of the day, his opinion matters about as much as your local grocer's [unless your local grocer is your own personal consigliere (:].
Last time I checked no one asked what scores you got, how long it took you to pass, or how many times you had to retake a test. All they care about are those three letters.
thanks Baseball…and I agree with you. I'm sure he/she didn't mean to be hurtful…. I'm just glad that I have provided inspiration and motivation to more people by posting my scores. If some have shock about the scores and feel I shouldn't be a CPA or rather they wouldn't want to work with me/for me then so be it; that is ultimately their loss.

Keeptring…you are the Babe Ruth of the CPA exam. “failure” is when one stops trying! There was nothing in it for you to post all of your scores, that was only for folks like me who were getting discouraged and down on themselves. Somebody who claims they wouldn't hire you is only kidding themselves as if they were privvy to that information LOL!
This forum should be about positive remarks and supporting one another. We know the amount of dedication and hard work it takes to pass the CPA exam. There really shouldn't be this much hostility going on here. There is no need for it! If anyone were to understand it would be our peers on here. I check in on this website for guidance and motivation. When I have a bad study day I find reassurance on this website. It really is sad to see such anger going on here. Really now, lets stop these absurd negative remarks it is wasting all of our precious time…
I think the purpose of this forum is to foster a sense of comraderie during this testing process as well as exchange ideas and share methods of success.
I don't see the value of putting others down or gratuitous sarcasm, it doesn't support the spirit behind this forum. Allyson is doing her job as Moderator–she volunteers her time–so cut her some slack, she does her part in maintaining the site. I know that waiting on scores can be stressful–I think we are all on edge–so lets all take a deep breath.
Mattered enough to you to mention your aversion to hiring someone who kept going back until they pass. Interesting considering you don't know for sure if you've passed one part yet. Pretty good idea to hand out advice youre unwilling and unable to follow.
I was exaggerating when I said I would “abolish you”. You have freedom of speech on this forum and I just moderate to make sure there are no spammers and improper exam disclosures.
You are either so arrogant that you don't realize your own insensitivity, or you are a troll.
If you really are waiting on a score, I wish you luck. It does not feel good to fail with three scores in the 60's. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, even someone who throws it in my face.
