First testlet: Medium

Second testlet: Difficult

Third testlet: Medium

Have you passed when you went from a difficult 2nd testlet to a medium 3rd testlet? This question likely is for those who have taken FAR because FAR is probably the only test where you can tell whether or not the testlets are getting more/less difficult.

I didn’t do well on the SIMS either, so I am looking to retake FAR next window but was just curious. Has anyone passed with a medium 3rd testlet and feeling like they also bombed the simulations?

The professor from my CPA review course says that you only need ONE hard testlet to pass the exam. If you get two hard ones, that's just gravy. Hang in there!

I'm waiting on my results, so I suppose we'll know in a few weeks…

I passed BEC and FAR in the second window of this year. Both of these exams started off medium/difficult/easy. I know that the difficulty level doesn't go below medium, but for me the last testlest seemed extremely easy to me. I passed both of these exams. The second testlest was a bear, which for both exams, ate up a bunch of time, but I gained time back from that last easy testlet.

I felt the exact same way about the FAR exam I took a few weeks ago as you. I also used Becker, got medium/difficult/medium testlets and wasn't thrilled about how I did on the sims. Hang in there BeckerUser, hopefully we both get good news.

You def can pass with only one hard testlet. I almost passed REG the first time with three medium testlets

My far 2011 was easy -hard -easy. Sims 4 tabs I knew very well, guessed on 3 other tabs. Passed.

It seems like it was so long ago.. I don't remember exactly. But overall I think I felt decent about sims on both exams.

FROM THE AICPA'S SCORING FAQ:

13. Can I get all medium testlets and still pass?

Yes, but for this to happen, you would have good but not excellent performance on the

first two testlets, and then excellent performance on the last testlet.
