So you took your last exam and have a month to wait for your grade. If you pass your done if you missed it (again) you start all over again and take the exam 4 months from now. So what do you do now, its Saturday its cold and there is nothing to study. You’ve been spending your Sat/Sun studying 8-9 hrs for the last year. What do others do while waiting in Limbo…..

@Gabe, yes…unfortunately to get a permit to practice (must have one in order to hold yourself out as a CPA) you have to have 40 hours of CPE before submitting your application. I did a lot of research on CPE providers…you can certainly get some free CPE by signing up with the B4 firms education sites, but I was trying to get it all in before the December board meeting. Some are very expensive but I found a couple of online CPE companies that will charge a flat fee for unlimited CPE a year. I went with MasterCPE. The 9 Ethics hours count towards the 40 thankfully. And the courses are not difficult at all. They're a walk in the park compared to these exams!
