I am so mad that people are failing these exams with grades between 70-74. This just stinks.

I am also mad at the fact that there are closed windows this years when the exam is closing. We should be able to sit for the exam as many times as we can before 12/31 without having to worry about closed windows, and expiring NTS’s,

    Just upset right now.

@Aries – I agree with you on the point of grades between 70-74. Also most of my friends from school couldn't apply for NTS's until we got final official transcripts which was close to June 1st. They had thought they would've had the NTSs by mid-July. These people have just received NTSs and now can't sit this window because everything is closed…. To make matters worse some of these people were studying and hoping to sit for multiple exams this window…. *end vent*

I have a couple friends in that situation. Processing times for applications are way too long for fresh college grads. Especially with the rush to try and get some exams done before the 2011 changes, it puts a lot more pressure on them this fall.

Thanks. No real secret. I am using Becker and pretty much studying full time before my new job starts. I just give myself plenty of time to get myself prepared and leave 2 weeks at least for reviewing.

I am probably “over doing it” to some extent, but I prefer to be pretty darn certain I pass each time I take a test rather than trying to risk cramming in more than I am comfortable with.

Hope your FAR score turns out well Florida_Candidate.

LOL I Hope so too! And I don't believe in “overstudying” I think if you have time you should do as much as you can. Why not?? As Peter Olinto says… having a life and your score on the CPA exam have an inverse relationship 😉

Lol I just finished B-1. I love procrastinating. I remember this lady in my Becker AUD class was definitely complaining about random IT stuff on her BEC exam but she passed. So maybe they really are pretest…
