I got my passing grade REG grade at 10 this morning. I was going crazy, it's my last exam!!!! I have been trying for close to 4 years. I lost FAR and REG and managed to jump back into it. If I can give some advice…..NEVER GIVE UP AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF THAT YOU COULD DO IT AND YOU WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took BEC 8/30 and haven't received yet but I'm pretty sure I saw some people that took it 7/1 and are still waiting too so I don't think it is timing. The ‘cusp' theory does make sense but if only 10,000 or so scores were released it looks like about half are still out which means it could just be totally random. After seeing REG score at 5 am this morning, I ran around the neighborhood naked and put in the first Yaeger lecture to start studying for FAR now that I have some renewed motivation. I will be highly disappointed if I fail BEC.

@ LCAggie – For BEC (1st Attempt), I knew the answers for the Written Communications but ran out of time. I did not put a lot of effort into the format etc (if any). I was concern more about making sure I got the answer correct. I got below average….. for WC. I missed passing by 1 point!!!

I know this doesn't effect me, but it really does make me upset that people are STILL waiting for their BEC scores.. I mean come on they were released last Thursday. I understand states like TX and CA who have a different process. But I have a friend in NY which is a 24 hour state still waiting on his BEC(last) exam score. It just kind of baffles me…

@ mjl01906 – I think it might play a little role in your score; however, they are looking for the correct format, grammar etc.

@mjl01906 – I have heard that too. I left myself with 15 mins to do all 3 WCs so I not even sure what I wrote down for them but the form was good for 2 of them at least. Figured since they were only worth 15% that shouldnt keep me from passing but very well could have.

@mjl01906 – I heard the same thing… it's more the “english/writing” portion of the exam rather than accounting. I heard that as long as you stick to the topic, even if not necessarily correct info, you are fine. Again, just what I've heard. I saw someone write (may have been this blog) to write as if you know what you are talking about and make them believe you that you are right even if you have no clue and you will be fine.
