@happy75 – Thank you. 🙂 It's such an immense relief.
I took BEC in 2010. I just checked my BEC study guide (I still have access, and I have the updated 2011 version since CPAexcel always updates your materials). They have an entire section dedicated to Corporate Governance and Internal Control. I see a few COSO sessions included in this section.
Honestly I have never felt that CPAexcel let me down material wise. The only one problem that I had was that it would underestimate the time that I needed in order to get through the program. I learned to always tell the course that my exam was a week earlier than it actually was, so that if I ran a little late, it wouldn't be a catastrophe.
I felt very well prepared when I took BEC. Probably the best I've ever felt before and after an exam. I felt good going into REG, but TERRIBLE coming out of it. I was 99% sure that I had failed with a 60-something. But I guess that CPAexcel taught me enough, because I managed to pull off a pretty good score despite getting an evil exam. I also used Jeff's Ninja notes for both BEC and REG and I highly recommend that everyone use them.
Hope this helps. 🙂 Good luck!
