I really hope the theory about the second wave of BEC scores being on the cusp is not true. I walked out of REG knowing I failed and just found out I got an 87. I felt pretty good about BEC so…. Don't want to jinx myself but clearly how you feel after your exam is meaningless.

@Baked – Yeah, its pretty retarded. They only post once a day, usually between 6am and 8am. The CBA must have received NTSs up to maybe 455ish. I am 459 and I wasn't on there. You must be something close to that too. Tomorrow for sure though.

I hope the BEC “on-the-cusp” theory is wrong too… I did the same with FAR (walked out feeling like I failed and passed with an 84) and I felt good about BEC so I'm a little nervous… I didn't take it until the end of August… does anything think timing has anything to do with it? Did you guys who received your scores take it early in the testing cycle and those waiting take it towards the end?

@ WaitingFor BEC – I think you are right. I am hoping my gut feeling is wrong for REG…..

I walked out of AUD not sure if I passed. I knew if I failed, it wasn't by much. = 84

I walked out of BEC (1st Attempt) thinking I did better than AUD! = 74

I walked out of BEC (2nd Attempt) thinking it was A LOT harder than the 1st attempt. = 77

I walked out of REG thinking I failed. I did ok on the questions but AWFUL on the SIMS…..Score = ?

I took BEC on 7/27 and still waiting but took FAR on 8/31 and got my score already

@Minimorty I'm scared!!!! I gave myself 5 weeks which seemed like a good amount of time for AUD, but literally the passed 5 days I haven't gotten a lot done with the whole score release process 🙁 Any words of wisdom?!?

Yes LCAggie! That has been my method now for 10 score releases 🙂 And I hold my finger over the area where you can re-register on the first screen so I can't tell if I passed or failed until I actually see my score. I am nuts.

@ ErinBrooke – i walked out of both Audit and BEC thinking i bombed. I didnt check the updates on the BEC exam and was using old material, so i was pretty sure that would have killed me. I was SHOCKED when i got to the “simulations” BEC – i thought i must have been given the wrong test! So i was sure i failed the content, but then AFTER getting my score, found out it was just based on whether you could maneuver the English Language with a degree of competence. Which shockingly, i apparenly can. whoop!

@CertifiedPainintheA – I took FAR at the end of July and got that score too, but it seems to be only BEC left ot release… I didn't know because of the written communications if the earlier ones made it out first… who knows?

If this helps I heard that there is a blend of both. If you took BEC before Aug 6th they would have enough time to grade the boarderline tests. If you took it after Aug 6th and they still need to recheck the test then you are in the second wave.

Just passing on what I have been hearing.

Woke up at 6 am this morning. Looked at my REG score 73. Went to work and found out I was the only KPMG Seattle first year that did not pass REG. Double wammy.

I think the AICPA surprised us all by releasing BEC first

The thing I don't understand is we were expecting them to release BEC last because of the written comm. but they released first – why not release all then? It's pretty confusing.

They like to keep us on our toes!
