Don't be embarassed! It's more embarassing to quit. If I don't pass FAR by the end of Jan (which I don't see happening) I will lose AUD and REG so I will have to start adding to my list as well. Just think of how much more rewarding it's going to feel when we pass. Those suckers who pass on the first try don't get to experience the full joy of it all 🙂 Haha ok so I may just be saying that to make myself feel better but whatever!!

Is there any way to find out how many took the exam? Or how many took it in Texas? I'm trying to figure out if ours will definitely be in the group posted tomorrow morning.

Kayla – I'm in the same boat. I lose AUD and REG 11/25/11 and 12/23/11 respectively. If I don't pass FAR this time around, I have to retake them! I can handle retaking AUD, and probably will do better since I have almost 2 more years of auditing under my belt, but REG will be terrible. I haven't done taxes since 4/2010 and that's the only reason I passed that exam.

Megan – That's how I felt about BEC. I felt like giving up if I didn't pass this time because I just couldn't seem to get it. AUD & REG were ok for me. Like you though, I have little tax experience so I have no idea how I passed that the first try. I am just glad that no matter what happens I have BEC secured for another 18 months. I've got to be able to get this all done by then!

Although I am terrified for FAR…..WHY did I leave it until the end!!

I took FAR first because of how huge it was from what I read on here. I studied for 8 weeks….ugh, it was a pain.
