    I'm in Houston too.

We should all change our names to “keepwaiting” in honor of the TSBPA. 😛

Ok, I'm going to try to get some sleep. Later peeps. I have a feeling I will see you all again Monday morning. Maybe Tuesday. Maybe Wednesday….

I actually slept through the night tonight! Buuuuuuut…

    74.

I didn't have any weaker sections except simulations. Comparable on FS accounts, specific transactions, and NFP. Stronger on Framework and Standards, Governmental, and Multiple Choice. Only weaker on simulations.

    Here we go Yaeger.

Hang in there Megan…I woke up to a 77 on FAR after having failed it the first time around with a 74. Try to look at it from the perspective of being THAT close, of the glass being half full as opposed to half empty. You know what you're doing. My advice to you would be to study as if you're taking it for the first time. That was my approach, and although it wasn't pretty, it worked. Since you have no other exams to take, dedicate as much time as you need and be methodical. Good luck!

Congrats pshustler, Allyson, T-rex, Redrage, and peanut!!!!!

I'm so sorry Megan, CPAMan, and Kricket. Kricket, I loved your post. I can just picture you out there aiming at your REG score. Hope you get a bullseye.

I feel for you fellow Texans. I remember screaming at my phone after waking up at 4:30 last window on Friday because I fully expected my AUD score but found nothing. My husband wasn't too happy about it either–nothing like someone screaming right next to you to jump start your morning. Hopefully, you will all have positive news.

I've only been able to check the forum a couple of times the last few days (totally crazy week), but it was down both times. I saw it was up this morning and gave myself 20 minutes to skim thru the posts to see scores so I'm sure I missed some of them.

Has anyone heard from kandiss or yankee?

Thanks unDer. I have to use a different approach this time, so I think starting fresh with another review course will be beneficial. I basically had all the Becker questions memorized from doing them so many times!

One of the things that I searched for over and over after my exam was about “TESTLET DIFFICULTY.” I missed REG with a 72 in May and retook it in August. In May, it was a BEAST, where every testlet seemed HARD….and I ended up leaving 2.5 sims blank due to time running out. This past time around, I was alarmed because testlet difficulty went MEDIUM, SLIGHTLY HARDER, EASY. I was so nervous I searched day in and day out for folks who had the same experience and still passed, in various forums online. I firmly believe that you cannot judge what the AICPA believes is HARD just on question length. It comes down to each candidates strengths and weaknesses I guess, because quite frankly I felt like I was in control of the exam most of the time, unlike in May. I was so thrilled when, after refreshing the SCORE button on the online score area on NASBA repeatedly for 1.5 days, that I passed with an 85. What a relief. All that worrying for nothing, and I could have used that time more productively studying for Audit. Good luck to everyone out there and I hope my view on the testlet difficulty helps answer concerns for candidates who have my very same concern that I obsessed about for a month. Thanks Yaeger….oh, and also call Phil Yaeger if you have his course before the exam for time management tips and last minute supplemental study material he recommends.

“Thank you NASBA for changing the scoring timeline for Q4….last 3 quarters felt like mental torture!”

I have been using Becker. Doing all the homework questions is the key to pass the exam.
