I know certain states impact the release time, but if you are in the core group, I am under the impression state doesn't matter. For example, I haven't seen any 4558s in any state…..and the posts seem to be progressing numerically.
DTERMND – What is this “giving up” that you speak of? I've never once, seriously thought of quitting. I have too much time and money invested in this. My son in my picture was 10 when that picture was taken and now, thanks to the CPA exam I have missed the last 2′. He's 13 and 5'10” now. That's a lot to sacrifice just to give up before I'm done. Failure has proven to be an option, but quitting never is.
I don't mean this in a bad way.. but it makes me feel better that everyone is talking about how hard the REGsims were. I went into the exam terrified bc of all I read in a couple threads. I came out feeling exactly like what everyone else on those threads said.
Now 3 months after I took my exam I have convinced myself I will have to re-take REG, but hearing u guys say that everyone felt that bad makes me have a tiny bit of hope =)
Not that I want anyone to have done bad, but if we all did bad in sims then maybe it means a lot were test sims and won't be counted.
@kricket my son was 9 when I started…he is now 13…not even close to 5′ 10″…he is 5′ 4″…but I ran into his room and woke him up this morning and said “Alec guess what!??!” He was like “you passed your exam?!?!” then he proceeded to do what i do to him “what did you make?” I said “a 75” and this is what he said “well that's all you needed Mom…good job…I hope you are done with this after your next score”….All I could think was so do I son…so do I!!!!
