Hi guys, sorry for the newb question but what is an “indie state”? I'm from California and read on the forum that a state can either be one of the three: NASBA States, Indie States, and Snail Mail States. I'm assuming indie means independent?

Hi everyone, Ive been reading this post since Thursday night but this is my first time posting… This is my first go round with the CPA exam and I agree that this waiting is soooo painful =/ Im in Oklahoma, an “indie state” so I just got my AUD score this morning. Failed…Still no word on BEC
B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

the loophole used to work. i am from Ohio and it worked for me 4 times in a row. Then the last time (October/November 2010 window) the loophole stopped working. I wouldn't rely on it.
Last testing window they released the rest of BEC scores after 5 days! they released the first batch on Monday and the rest on Friday. It was a terrible waiting. They were saying that borderline scores are to be released in the second batch because they needed humans to grade them. i received a borderline score but I know people that didn't.
MOM2THREE, I'm with you, my 3 year old every time sees me on my laptop says..mom I want to study with you..it breaks my heart. Praying for a passing score on REG….

btw for all of you who are wondering- I just tried the ohio loop hole with the new score system (can't hurt right- even though it's not really telling me anything, i have nothing better to do right now…it's not like I'm be productive at work) anyways- i am on my last section and the message i recieved a messge that all exams are in progress and to call the NASBA
I have repeatedly heard that borderline scores are released in the second batch. No one seems to know if this is really the case or just a theory? Did you hear this from a credible source?

@Iwannabelicensed – Not much comparison but my four-legged children are starting to get tired of seeing my laptop and book out. When studying for my August tests, the one dog would literally come over and lay on my lap, which meant laying on the book or computer. =) I think they are ready for some attention. Only ONE more score and then I can be done. Please be a pass for REG
@ern1233974- Thanks! Definitely not relying on it or celebrating yet. Just something to pass the time during this EXCRUCIATING wait 🙂 This site has really motivated and re-energized me to study though!
Not that I know of, though I am not waiting on BEC or AUD which have had some scores released at least for other states. I'm in Iowa and waiting on FAR.
