    New thread started for (hopefully) upcoming FAR and REG release. The old thread was acting up as well.

    They should announce set dates that they release the scores each window. This guessing game is ridiculous. They give us so many deadlines (18 months to pass all 4, 9 months to take the tests from when you pay for them), it's about time we give them a deadline. I mean we can't just show up randomly on the day we feel like taking the exam. They shouldn't be able to randomly pot scores either.

    Well, no one is stopping us from picking up the books again. We just need to believe!!!

    Just posted on NASBA's FB page in a comment, “We haven't gotten the official announcement of the release yet. Will post once we know :)”

    REG: 90, 8/27/11
    AUD: 91, 11/30/11
    BEC: 92, 10/6/12
    FAR: 91,11/3/12 DONE!!! PTL!!!

    @jtcali, you def. have a point. although I'm in TX and we only get 2 months to take exams after payment!!! I've lost that window twice and so that money went down the drain! Once for a funeral I couldn't take and another time b/c I stupidly thought I could take an exam 2 months before my wedding…….

    BEC - 65 (4/10), 83 (8/10)
    AUD - 64 (10/10), 73 (2/11), 93 (8/11)
    REG - 47 (7/09), 80 (10/11)
    FAR - 84 (11/11) Texas. I'm done!!!

    Apart from the essays, is there anything else that needs manual grading?

    Are we really sure FAR is out? Maybe there's a troll coming on here with multiple names so it looks like several people have gotten their scores. It's suspicious since NASBA hasn't tweeted anything about it yet!

    Has anyone ever thought about this too – with the new way of the score release process, it is really hindering our abilities to pass within 18 months. It basically shortened the time to pass since it takes so long to find out if we passed and the ability to sign up for another try at it if we didn't. I feel like we can't have as many attempts due to this… what do you think?

    AUD: 81!
    BEC: 80!
    REG: 85!
    FAR: 76!

    #298801

    No – nothing needs manual grading – they just want to curve the scores so that approximately only 46-48% of people who take the exam pass.

    @75

    That's not the issue: the issue is the curve: where to set it, how much to set it, etc.

    That's why we haven't seen an early release yet, and we will next testing window. Not enough data to set a curve until the end of the window.

    AUD 90; BEC 94; FAR 7/1/11; REG 8/9/11;

    Even the essays get graded electronically, although they tell us that they are spot-checked by a team of CPAs. Some feel like borderline BEC scores will get their essays manually graded. I'm not sure if that's true or not.

    REG: 90, 8/27/11
    AUD: 91, 11/30/11
    BEC: 92, 10/6/12
    FAR: 91,11/3/12 DONE!!! PTL!!!

    plenty of people on FB page are saying FAR is out.

    so to me it looks like

    Audit – 100% out

    Reg – not out

    FAR – on the way

    BEC – first wave out, second wave not out

    i think that nails it
