goforCPA- there have been several rumors that scores between 68-79 are held for further review. Not sure if there is any validity to this theory. On the bright side, if that is the case and you have not received your score yet, you have a 50/50 chance and you did not totally bomb it.

LCAggie – When I got home from the REG exam I told my kids, it was as if I studied for a Social Studies exam and they gave me a Chemistry test. I was certain that I didn't pass. Of course, after so much time passes I find myself hoping. I suppose miracles do happen.

@notgoodatwaiting – That's how I felt! I haven't heard anyone feeling good coming out of REG. I am hoping for a mircale!

Mandy – For the second window of 2011, everyone who received a score in the second batch of BEC was given a score between 70-80, from what I recall on this board. In the first window, BEC was released last (from what I can remember. I was super duper preggo), so they “improved” in the second window by releasing those that were definitely failing or definitely passing without further review first, and then released these borderline scores in the second batch.

In 2010 and prior, there were scores released in several different batches, and borderline scores were the majority in these subsequent batches. So, there is some validity to the argument that borderline scores are released later. I've been watching it for awhile (as a lot of us have been), and it's discussed in Jeff's “50 things you must know” book.

does NASBA ever release scores earlier in the day or is it always late in the day?

I complained to NASBA via twitter about their non score release tweets getting everyone's hopes up and they responded, “We understand and are trying 2 be sensitive 2 those waiting 4 scores. Do have other news 2 report sometimes though :)” Them tweeting about putting volunteer work on your resume today pretty much tells me they don't care. I'm going crazy over here!

Yes, evevrything i've heard about people taking REG has been negative on the sims. So it gives me hope too. Like maybe they'll just say “well, everybody failed, so we'll pass those who at least gave it a try”. Again, the longer you wait, the more bizarre things pop in your head i think.
