I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

Jeff (or anyone with more knowledge on the subject than me),

Any idea why the first score release of the quarter is 11 business days after the close and the other releases are 6 days after the close? Just curious.

GAHHH — I really need to start studying for REG (again.), since my exam is only a month away. Crazy how much information is pushed out of your head after you take a section.

Buttt I cannot even sit down to study until I hear about BEC…I just can't. Next week is going to go soooo slow.

    AUD - 78 (expired), 81
    BEC - 76 (Expires 1/31/2015)
    REG - 76!!
    FAR - TBD

It's definitely tough..I'm having a hard time as well….I haven't put in as much effort because I hate to “waste” time studying REG if I don't pass AUD!! Also, my wife being out of town for most of the week has made it even harder to study.

I was just checking out my account for the CBA… I was kind of hoping they might accidently post some info on how I did. It says that they issue advisory scores to people who don't pass so that they can reschedule for the next testing window. So do advisory scores come out early? It doesn't say that…

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

@StephAV – ILBOA website states the following: “Be advised that all CPA examination scores for the current testing quarter (window) are advisory and must be approved by the Illinois Board of Examiners at an official board meeting.” My understanding is that every state is like this. So no, advisory scores don't come out early. They are all advisory until board approved.

Ughh! Taking the exam the beginning of the testing window definitely has its downfall!! Feels like I've been waiting forever, and EVERYONE keeps asking me if I've received my score. I tell them all not yet, and don't ask me again me because I'm pretty sure I failed!

Also, it's definitely hard to study for an upcoming test when you are still worried about a past exam. Ahhhh!

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    Thanks bacpasoon!

Sarita, I'm dying to know too, but I just took my test on Monday. I keep reading through the experience thread trying to find someone with my experience. 🙁 Did they pass? UGH! I think if I do pass that will be a BIG confidence booster and if I don't UGH, that is what I am afraid of.

@StephAV Haha, I did that, too!! After I came home miserable from FAR, I went to the test experience forum to find all the people who passed even though they thought they didn't. It made me feel a little better! Though, I'm still convinced I didn't pass because I know I didn't perform as well as I could have on the SIMS.

By the way, we're in exactly the same boat: needing to pass in CA by the 2014 changes. Man, it's rough. I know I would feel a lot more confident if I could dedicate more time to each exam instead of jamming them all in between July and November.

    AUD 10/2/13 - 92

I had a dream that I got a 68 but then it kept climbing upwards. Unfortunately I woke up before my score reached 75

    AUD: Attempt 1: 60; Attempt 2: 78
    BEC: Attempt 1: 75 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 80
    FAR: Attempt 1: 74; Attempt 2: 74; Attempt 3: 78
    REG: Attempt 1: 76 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 68; Attempt 3: 80

    Finished 11/01/2013!!!
