I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

Aaaand the AICPA said they couldn't help me either. What the efffffff… Guess I'll have to wait it out and hope I receive my score tomorrow. Otherwise it will be a very stressful week of worrying if I'm on the bubble or not.

@barelystayingsane – In CA in our exam account it says when NASBA received our test score. Does your state do the same?

I don't think Wisconsin has anything like that sadly. They have a column that says Score Dates Received, but those dates are around the time I received my score reports from NASBA.

@barelystayingsane – assuming your study efforts were similar to your first two exams, I would be pretty shocked if you were on the bubble for BEC. Therefore, if you don't get your score in this wave, you likely missed the cut off.

I wish I could think that! I had a really bad testing experience…I was in the cubicle closest to the door to the check-in area and had to listen to Prometric employees talk for my entire exam. It drove me crazy, and I ended up racing through my exam just to get out of there. Wasn't able to concentrate at all, so I don't have very high hopes. 🙁 but thank you for the encouragement!

@ahelton I was the exact same way with my FAR! Mostly missed my last-few-days prep, and that last prep is always very vital, at least to my confidence if nothing else! But I passed…here's hoping you did the same! 🙂

I took BEC on 7/21. This has been the longest month of my life! I know I could have been better prepared (when is that ever not the case), but I'm feeling cautiously optimistic this time. I've been in a CPA exam slump (passed REG then 2 misses on Audit and 2 misses on FAR), so I could really use a win this time.

It's funny… I breezed through high school and stumbled through college, but I never had to apply anywhere near the amount of discipline it's going to take to finally finish the CPA exam. With each attempt I'm learning more about how I study and how I NEED to study, which is great and everything, but I'm really, really, really, REALLY ready to be done with it.

Good luck everyone! The anxiety of the wait is torture every time scores come out…here's to hoping everyone did well! I feel REG may be the one exam I fail, but I'm trying not to think about it. If it comes back bad, there's always next testing window!
