I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

Does anyone know when California scores will post?

California posts the day after the NASBA release, IIRC at about 6am. So, that'd be Thursday morning around 6am!

Do the sections come out in any certain order? I know they are numerically released per section, but wasn't sure if the sections were released in alphabetical order, etc.

You can definitely check from your phone. I found out that I passed FAR from my phone while we were in Cabela's. I nearly screamed. Then after the initial excitement wore off, I had to make my husband look at it again to be sure I hadn't misread a 68 as 86. 🙂

@barely you can contact the AICPA or NASBA and find out when your test was received. That will let you know which wave.

@ahelton There's no official order, but they tend to usually be in alphabetical order. I saw one time, though, that it went from AUD to REG (I think it was?) without touching BEC or FAR inbetween. o.O

Thanks, clarissa! Anybody know if there is a specific number to call for finding out which wave you're in? 888.777.7077 is the generic number on the AICPA's contact page.

@Lilla – Thanks!!! AUD was my first exam and it came first that day, but wasn't sure if that was the general rule. Very nervous about FAR. I didn't get the “last minute cram hours” in the week immediately before that I wanted to.

I think the general pattern has been alphabatical… AUD,BEC,FAR,REG

@calicpa – CA posts the day after NASBA states. Assuming that NASBA states receive their scores tomorrow (and they all release successfully without it crashing) then CA scores should be up Thursday.

    REG: 86
    AUD: 92
    FAR: 84
    BEC: 87

So I tried calling NASBA to see if they could tell me which wave my score will be released in, and the person I talked to just read off the score release schedule and told me they couldn't track my section ID. Considering all but one of the people I've dealt with at NASBA have been lazy and/or incompetent, I'm sure there is a way for them to track it and he just either didn't know how or didn't want to do the extra work. Guess I'll try the AICPA!

For how much money we pay to become CPAs you think they could at least be a little less rude on the phone!

    #432665

@calicpa – CA always posts the day after NASBA receives the score. I've received my score on Thanksgiving before. It's an automatic push of scores, so it could be any day really.

CA CPA - All because of the journey listed below
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    FAR - 53('10), 8/25/12 79 PASSED!
    REG - 66('11), 69('12), 12/06/12 77 PASSED!!
    BEC - 58('10), 74('12), 01/05/13 77 PASSED!!!
    AUD - 43('11), 66('12), 69('13), 74('13) 7/29/13 85 PASSED!!!!!
