I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

Admission: I've been sporadically checking the website to get the “there are no scores to display for this section” message, just in case they somehow decided to release them really early. Been checking once or twice a week for the past few weeks, and now more like daily. I keep secretly hoping the score will appear before the 21st so I don't have time to go into the full-blown panic.

Retaking AUD on 8/29 (lost credit), so waiting on my THIRD attempt at FAR (74 then 70) is really the lynch pin!

FAR - 78 (July 2013) (<- the only one I didn't pass on first try (took 3!) but now I took it DOWN!)

This is a little off-topic but I didn't want to start a new thread…

After you have passed all four sections, do your passing scores expire if you haven't applied for a license? i.e. I need to get more experience before I apply for the actual license but I don't want to “lose” my passing scores if that makes sense. I am in a NASBA state by the way

I heard from one of my friends that BEC can sometimes get held back after the exam release date due to scoring the “essays”, is this true? i really hope not since theres NO way i could handle waiting past thursday, last release when the scores came out on the day of i was freaking out, if i don't get this one till AFTER the release date, i'll fall apart, literally.

@nymets this is true only if you're close to a passing score (around 75). If you're close, they'll have a human actually grade your writing section to ensure proper grading.

Most people call it being on the bubble.

If I take AUD on the 29th or 30th of this month what are the odds of the state (MD) receiving my scores by September 1 so I can see them online by the 10th? Killing myself doing 3 chapters a week for my Becker online course in order to finish lectures and HW by the 24th so I can test before the window is over.

I took BEC a few days ago.

Actually, MC2 section was crazily difficult. (Section 1 was felt to be so easy….)

I practiced BISK, Wiley and USCPA Excel for this BEC Exam and solved 2000 plus questions for preparation.

However, most of all 24 Multiple-choice questions are much more than difficult than BISK, Wiley and USCPA Excel.

MC section 3 was still very difficult but not as difficult as MC section 2.

Is this any sign or something ???

Could you share with me how you pulled 20 extra points with your FAR retake? How long is the interval and what materials did you use to score 82?

I had a nightmare last night that I got a 64 on REG…Hope that is not true. Anyone having any weird post-exam dreams?

@Cupcake After I took FAR I swear I had at least 5 dreams before score release that I got a 74, and that I would keep retaking it and getting 74s. Talk about a nightmare.

I also had a dream last nite I failed Reg with a 74! I guess I'm improving since the other nite had a dream I got a 68 .. Only few more days till score release !?!

@bull: I took bec on Monday and felt testlet 2 and 3 were really difficult. Honestly testlet 1 was no picnic either but I felt like I at least recognized topics. I am praying that this is a good sign. The test supposedly adjusts itself to how you are performing so I think it means you are doing well when the questions get harder. I have a theory that your launch code also is somehow tied to the level you get in the first testlet as well. Just a thought so I'm curious to see if anyone else has wondered about the variations in the exams. I'm so nervous about this final score. It's my last exam and I want to be done!

I took BEC on August 10. I walked out devastated, my MCQ were very tough. I am not able to remember a single MCQ until now . I am not able to evaluate how I did perform . WC not difficult because I know the TOPICS very well. Hopefully the 60 operational MCQ and 2 WC enable me to pass.( ONLY 60 MCQ will be score and 2 WC )

Hope on Thursday I can see 75 to pass
