I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

@stokey I think it depends on your state (NASBA or non). I'm in Illinois so I have to wait about 3 weeks to get a performance report. It seems like others either get an email or can check online somewhere. If you're in IL, look for a report in the next 2-3 weeks.

For NASBA states, your diagnostic score report will be sent to you with the option you chose – email or mail, probably today or tomorrow. My first report I got emailed to me Saturday morning. But for the last release I didn't get it 3pm on Tuesday and scores were released on Friday.

@amy1018 thanks for the info! That is exactly what I was hoping didn't happen!!! I checked my application status and it said that RI released my score on 7/22/13, so I am pretty sure that I won't be getting my score till the next wave. I will double check with NASBA though! Good luck 🙂 hope we both pass this one!!!!

Someone posted somewhere else that they called TX State Board and they were told that scores would be posted tomorrow at 4am.

@cpa786 – I had a bad testing experience for my first shot at AUD. I panicked from the very beginning and lost concentration. The person next to me was banging on their keyboard the whole time, someone behind me was coughing and sniffling and I had a horrible headache. I thought I was doing horrible on MCQ's so by the time I got to the SIMS, I had pretty much given up. I ended up getting comparable on the MCQ's and weaker on the SIMS. Second time, I stayed relaxed and focused and had a different attitude throughout the whole exam. As far as restudying, I just went through all of the Becker lectures again and through the MCQ's one time and did a few progress test. I got a lot more out of the lectures going through them the second time. I purchased the Wiley Test Bank and did a few practice exams, but I think the difference in my score had a lot to do with my testing experience. Good luck!

@TXgirl, thanks for the pointers for retaking audit.

I may lose my mind waiting for Texas to release the BEC scores.

Silly duplicate post. Must be the lack of sleep from checking score releases all night.

I think I had 3 or 4 separate dreams of me finding out about different scores last night. Every time I would wake up (like every hour), I had to tell myself that the dreams didn't actually happen!

    FAR - 4/13/13: 82
    REG - 7/1/13: 84
    BEC - 10/10/13: 79
    AUD - 11/25/13: 92

@hopefulTXcpa, I had dreams about the same thing. I may need to hide my cell phone tonight so that I can't check the time or tsbpa website every hour.

@cpa786: I didn't review any extra Sims more than what was required in Becker. I hate Sims.

I got a “Stronger” in everything except one questions section where I got “Comparable”. For Sims, you get that knowledge based on how well you actually understand the information. Again, follow the guideline I wrote out above. That's all I did to jump from a 65 to a 91.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

@InfernoOmni – I too hate sims. On all but one of my reports I do better comparatively on the sims. Its all MCQ repetition. However REG SIMS are a pain – ive spoken with a bunch people that feel the same way about REG sims – its like a different test

    BEC - 78
    FAR - X, X, 78
    AUD - X, X, 77
    REG - X, 76

I failed FAR AGAIN!!! This is getting so frustrating 🙁

    FAR: 71, 60, 72 <<< 3 points away 🙁

    AUD: 54, 66

    REG: 8/30

Since I do tax and law for a living i'm hoping I pass REG on the first try, maybe it's the confidence booster I need, but this is getting extremely frustrating. I have the 10 point combo but i'm still bombing on governmental and not-for-profit although I studied them more than anything else. Any advice from anyone who has passed FAR would be much appreciated. Thank you!
