I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

I took my first exam FAR on July 19, but online it shows that they received notification on July 22. I know that the AICPA release score date for received by July 20 is August 5. Is there any chance that I will get my score on August 5th or will I have to wait until the next score release on August 22nd? I don't want to wait that long haha. I'm in Texas btw.

@carpedieum37- under testing information click “Review your CPA Examination Testing Activities, Scores, and Credits” and then click “VIEW” next to testing activities. You will see it there when they received it. Mine is Texas State Board of Public Accountancy website. I'm not sure what state you are in and whether it's the same for you.

@Hcohen91 -I would because the old standards still apply to public companies. The new changes go in effect next year. I was heavily tested on public companies and the IASB. Good luck!

@willbecpa it depends on when the test was received. Mine have all been 2 days after the date I took the exam.

Just because you took your test on July 20th doesn't mean you won't get your score today. It all depends on when the AICPA received your test. I took my test on July 20 and got my score today. But from what I've been reading, it seems some states' Prometric have some sort of delay in relaying the information to the AICPA, as in it doesn't get there til a day or two later. I'm in PA, if that helps.

Another tough score release day for me.

I have gotten a 74 on FAR; 73 on Audit and now a 72 on REG in that order. BEC is up next at the end of August.

This exam follows the saying that it is a marathon not a sprint.
