I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

    From AICPA Website:

*AICPA is working closely with NASBA and scores will be released at the earliest possible time. *

There is no mention of Monday at all. My guess is that they will release it later tonight. They have just bought time through NASBA until Monday.

    AUD: Passed
    REG: Passed
    BEC: Passed
    FAR: Passed

Wouldn't your launch code be linked to which wave you took the exam?

***OPTIMISTIC UPDATE FROM AICPA AND NASBA:***

So I called NASBA first. Told them I saw their tweet and Facebook post and was NOT happy that the new target release date is now Monday. I point blankly asked if they had received the scores from the AICPA yet. She said “No.” She promised that as soon as they receive them, they would release them. She further said that it is an automatic process, and a live human being doesn't need to be there to press the button. As long as the AICPA gets them to NASBA by end of business today, we could receive them as early as tonight and could continue receiving them on Saturday and Sunday. They updated the target release date to Monday to cover their own butts in case this doesn't happen. She also said NASBA received 700 calls today.

Then I called AICPA. Upon questioning the status he told me “We have released the scores to NASBA and it's now out of our hands and up to them to release them.” I responded “Well that's curious since I just spoke to NASBA and they said you did NOT release the scores to them yet.” He replied “Interesting. Hold on a minute while I speak to my supervisor.”

After being placed on hold, he returned telling me that there was some misscomunication in the call center (and the entire organization for that matter!) and that the scores had NOT been released to NASBA yet. He said “We have until 5 PM EST to release them to NASBA.” I asked if that's a hard deadline, and he said yes. I then told them that part of canidates major frustration is the lack of communication about what's actually going on. I asked if they intend to update their Facebook and Twitter when they send the scores to NASBA and he replied “I think the Social Media person went home for the day.” I then strongly urged him to speak to his supervisor and get this information posted and tweeted to try to ingratiate themselves in our eyes. He said that was a good idea and would pass it along. I also requested a call back when the scores are released to NASBA and left my phone number, and he said that he would call me back within 5 minutes of the scores being sent to NASBA.

So I am, yet again, cautiously optimistic that AICPA will release them in the next 30 minutes, and NASBA will hit the magic button and release them in waves over the weekend.

Ok guys. I just called both AICPA and NASBA again within the past 15 minutes. I've got a confirmed answer from AICPA that they will release the score this evening before it closes. The lady claimed that she talked with her supervisor and manager and confirmed back to me.

I then called NASBA, and the lady said majority of the scores would be released today. The Aug 26 is the latest for very few scores. She literally said “I'm talking about 50 or 60 out of thousands”.

If scores are not released today, then I don't know if we should trust them any more. AICPA and NASBA can both change their names to LIAR-AICPA and LIAR-NASBA.

@Miserylovescompany, you do realize that NASBA is not going to stay after business hours to upload scores even if they receive them today or this weekend?

Just spoke to AICPA again since NASBA's update. They stated their goal is still by 5 pm tonight to release the scores to NASBA. He stated that according to their FAQ on their website, it is normal that it may take a day after until NASBA releases them. So he stated he would most likely be Monday as that would make sense.

If they actually do this, and NASBA says as soon as they get the scores they will be posted…. but some people stated that NASBA won't post if they get the scores prior to them closing and others stated they were told NASBA can still process even if they are closed as it is automated… who knows 🙁

CPA as of April 2015!! Woot!

OMG so the guy from AICPA just called me like he said (which I was sure he wouldn't) and he said that he was just informed that they will be releasing it today with in the next hour or so, he cannot tell me when we will get it because it depends on the processing time of NASBA but I think I read somewhere that someone said that it is automatically been uploaded so maybe there is a chance.

I can only hope this is true – again this is what I've been told and I am not a troll incase someone is wondering I would never do such a stupid thing I got a call back from 919 402 4500 if you would like to confirm yourself the guy who helped me was really nice his name was Jason. now let's hope this is true

    I know this sucks everyone.

But someone made a funny twitter profile.

    “NotNASBA ‏@NotNASBA 5m

The #AICPA typically determines who passes the #cpaexam by flipping a coin. This week they couldn't find any quarters thus the delay.”

Saw this on NASBA's facebook page:

“Ok Just got off the phone with NASBA they said that even though the score release date changed they are still anticipating that they will receive the scores today.”

    I don't know what to believe anymore…

not sure why my earlier post didn't post but the guy I talked to from AICPA called me back a few minutes ago and said they are planning to release it to NASBA today but he does not know how long will it take NASBA to process it
