I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

This whole situation blows. Big time. We all need to do something to distract us from this mess over the weekend. I know some of you are studying, but try to get out for just a little bit and do something as a stress relief to help with this craziness. I'm going to a karaoke birthday party tomorrow night, and I'm having a TV marathon on Sunday. And I'm working out and drinking wine. That's my plan.

This especially sucks for people like me who might want to cram in a re-take before this window is over. I'm waiting on my BEC score which I think I failed, so it would be really nice to get my score on time so I have maybe 6-7 days to study. I just think it's ridiculous that this is happening so close to the end of the window. At this point if I get my failing score Monday, I need to wait until Wednesday to try and register in a window that ends SATURDAY. This sucks.

@smstrobe I'm in the same boat. We have to wait 48 hours after failing to reschedule, and the testing window closes in a week. Not really sure how I did on BEC but have maybe 30% chance of passing based on my exam experience…

@Orioles19 it matters because some people have expiration deadlines. This means that the sooner we know scores, the sooner, if necessary, we can reschedule and hit the books. Not to mention the agony of not knowing.

I called the Maryland board of accountancy where I took the exam and they said not to expect the scores until Thursday of next week!! So ridiculous. Then they said that the scores are fine after I told them that I really question the integrity of the scores at this point. She then says, oh the scores are fine it's just that the AICPA had an issue with transmitting them electronically!?. Soooo that takes a week to fix?? I said thank you but I don't believe it. My thing is this, if the scores are fine and haven't been compromised, why don't they accommodate candidates by giving us our scores over the phone with the the right candidate info once we call in?? This is insane and very unprofessional. I passed far and reg and am waiting for my bec score from aug 6th and I have audit next Tuesday. Need to focus big time

FOr those of you who want to retake the exam by the end of the month just to let you know you cannot take the same exam twice in a testing window so even if you would know you failed like 2 weeks ago you wouldn't be able to take it until the next testing window it wouldn't allow you to do so
