I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

All right – I'm starting to hop back on the ‘this is outrageous' bandwagon. This is outrageous.

All I can think is that they must still think there is a chance they can get the scores out today, so they are waiting to post any update until they have some better sign one way or another. Otherwise, why is there no public communication from AICPA about what is going on? Rrrrrr.

First time poster, couldn't contain myself anymore.

I called NASBA. Lady said that it “was looking like” it “could be” Monday. My heart sank, I couldn't breathe for a couple seconds. She said they still hadn't received the scores.

I then called AICPA – spoke to a guy who was sympathetic. I told him I was waiting on my last score and this was absolutely stressing me out beyond belief. He then said “we are trying our best to get them out by 5:00 pm (ET).”

The question is…if AICPA releases them by say, 4:45 PM ET, will NASBA be able to turn around and release them today?

Ah Jeff!! A ray of hope!! 🙂 You are lucky enough to get all the unplanned traffic!! Thankfully, it's a great place to communicate!!

    Things I am thankful for:

    1. I don't work at the NASBA or the AICPA (New Jersey) switchboard!

    2. I'm old enough to drink!

This is kind of like a really, slow peeling of an extremely stuck band aid off a wound…

called the AICPA number, and they just regurgitated the notice about the one day delay in release. According to the guy i spoke with – he was under the impression that AICPA has released the scores to NASBA and it's a matter or NASBA compiling the scores with our registration information. When I told him that, according to communications with NASBA, he said they may be saying they haven't acknowledged receipt of scores because they have not completed the compilation.

But honestly, I don't think he knew anything beyond the original one-day delay notification. He did, however, say that it would be around 2PM today or possible Monday.

I also just called NASBA, and they said they haven't received the score yet, and they are having a meeting right now to discuss this issue. They told me to call in an hour and half and maybe they can tell me more about it then. This is craaaaaaaazy!!!!!

I just had ice cream for lunch. And vodka. Not necessarily in that order.

Something is definitely weird with this situation! They're having a meeting??

I feel like I should attend this meeting of theirs.

Thank God the forum is back again!

More updates I just got. Be ready folks:

NASBA's business hour goes to 4:30pm, and AICPA 6:00pm. NASBA said if they don't receive by 4:30pm, the scores will only be available on Monday. Yes, MONDAY! My understanding is even if AICPA managed to released the scores at 5ish, we are not going to be able to see them until Monday because folks at NASBA went home for a sweet sweet weekend.

AICPA & NASBA may say: SO WHAT? DEAL WITH IT.

What is going to be REALLY depressing is when the “Score release by NTS#” thread hits 2 days..That has to be sometime soon.

Keep in mind that NASBA is based in Nashville which is in the Central time zone, while the AICPA is based in the Eastern time zone. Which means that 4:30 for NASBA is 5:30 for the AICPA. I know it doesn't solve everything, but it helps relieve some of that difference.
