I dont think you can do 400 some hours of studying and fail the test. Not possible IMO.

For the BEC score release last window I was up until 2 am on the score release thread constantly refreshing the page. Mind you, I started monitoring the thread very early in the day. The experience was very very bad. I DO NOT intend to do a repeat of that. I honestly cannot express to you how much just sitting around your computer for hours on end refreshing the page sucks.

The scores are supposed to be released on Wednesday I think. I’m gonna volunteer for a bit then go swimming. Later, I’m going to buy a six pack, go home, and watch a movie. My hope is that ill fall asleep and wake up sometime early in the morning thursday. Then, ill check my score.

Not sure if I'm the only one here starting to think the whole “we have our rights/this is outrageous” talk has gone a little bit overboard?

I'm as antsy to see my score as everyone else. Especially because I took my exam on July 20, and had high hope that I would see my score on August 2nd. But honestly, the AICPA and NASBA hasn't really done anything that anyone can really get THAT crazy-mad about. They never promised scores would come out a day prior to target release, so spending all day waiting for them on the 21st and then the 22nd (after their update) is a gamble we chose to take, and lost this time around.

Something clearly occurred with the AICPA that was unexpected and required some IT intervention, and they communicated it 24 hours prior to the scheduled release date, and are now – by all appearances – ready to release today, which is when they said was the new date to expect them. It sucks. I don't like it. I wonder why server upgrade was so gosh-darned important that day. But these things happen and if I'm being honest, can't see that the AICPA has really done anything inappropriate or outlandish in their way of dealing with/communicating the situation.

Trying to hold NASBA or AICPA accountable for our own crushed hopes in not seeing something earlier than they clearly communicated, is a little silly.

Thank you for the information and updates! It's helpful to know what the NASBA people are saying. Fingers crossed today is the day!

Misery loves company, but I really hope somebody gets to breathe easy soon so the rest of us can calm down! I haven't gotten any work done in 2 days, so I took today off so I can pace around my house instead of my office. As if this process wasnt stressful enough!!

    Hi Guys!

I took FAR for my 5th time (kind of embarrassing) July 31st. The last time I got a 73 (what a tease).

Is anyone worried that if it was due to a hack scores might get screwed up??

@carpediem: I think everyone already knew everything you just said…but it just feels better during these times of high stress to vent. The most obvious target of this venting is the AICPA/NASBA. We'll all come back to our senses after we get our scores! (hopefully)

    Hey Guys,

I would like to start of saying that although it says I literally just created a username for another71, I can promise you I am not a “troll”. I am waiting for my last part and literally have been checking my score since Monday (fully knowing the release wasn't supposed to happen until Wed)

I too just called NASBA and the woman I spoke to said NASBA is expecting to get an official update from the AICPA within the next 30 minutes and to check twitter as they will post there once they hear from them.

Fingers crossed on score releases today because I'm seriously making myself sick over this!

After hitting refresh a couple hundred times and feeling my heart skip each time I think we should all play the glad game.

    Things that make me glad:

    – Finishing the Becker multiple choice questions with 9 hours to spare before FAR

    – Not living in Syria

    – Not getting lost on the way to the Prometric Test Center

    – The ending of Field of Dreams

    – Getting 15 minutes at the end of REG to look up the non-research questions to double check myself

    – We live in a society that dreamed up dorito flavored tacos

    – The feeling of coming home from an exam and realizing “I don't have to study tomorrow”

    There, now I feel better…

    Just hit refresh again…. **Sigh**

@SusanP Im not worried about my score being screwed up, thats what I'm hoping for. Maybe instead of my 61 on FAR that im expecting, I will get someone's 85….

But seriously, can you imagine if the hackers messed things up so badly and lost our tests and AICPA felt bad (as if they have feelings, HAHAHA) and just decided to give everyone 75's who took exams in that window.

    Wishful thinking…
